Injection Gone Bad, Help

5 weeks into my test prop cycle and this happens. Shot my left pec just now as normal, everything done textbook sterile as always, i shot 150mg (1.5ml) with a terumo 1" pin 23g 90% of the way in as normal very slowly. I pull out and instantly the injection site swells almost the size of a small golf ball and is hard! WTF? Some blood also came out but no more than normal for an inject. I then swabbed the area and now the lump is about 65% gone already, heres some quick pics. What happened? Should i worry about this or go about my day as normal? Theres no pain, no redness, no nothing, just a small hard lump now. The size has gone down a lot in the last 10 minutes. I dont understand since i did the inject the same way ive done countless others but this time got this problem. Whats up?

its just the oil under the skin. the muscle in your pec isnt at thick as you glutes or quads and build up can happen sometimes

could be built up cartlidge too from injecting that site alot (if you do). happened to a friend and he is a paramedic. that is what he said was his issue. sounds exactly the same his was in his delt tho

Thats what i figured. Just kinda freaked out seein that for the first time ya know? Any signs throughout the day i should look for maybe? Im assuming it will just go away throughout the day right? Its now about 20min later and its already almost back to normal, just still hard of course but lump itself is almost gone. Anyway to prevent this in the future? I mean ive pinned the same pec countless times in the same area without any problems before. Maybe when i pulled the pin out some oil followed? Thanks for the quick response bro!

no pain, no redness, nothing really. Just a small lump now and hard behind the lump, nothing else. I wait at least 7 days before injecting the same muscle, usually 10 days so there should be no scar tissue or anything like that. Only my second cycle but pin 4x a week

Bump for anyone who can help me with these questions please. What would u call this that happened?
I also have cephalexin 250mg and Doxycycline 100mg caps on hand. Should i take any. Is their any chance of getting an infection from this? Or am i just over anaylizing this and i should be fine? Thanks!

Bro I wouldnt be concerned unless it gets red or warm to the touch. IMO you will be ok. Somehow you may have just went a little more subcutaneous than IM, just a thought.

Why are you injecting your pec??? The best places are glutes, quads, delts - so I'm just wondering why you chose that location? In any case I would switch sites to an area that is more dense.

I usually rotate quads, glutes, delts, pecs and tris. My pecs have developed nicely and have plenty of muscle there to pin. Like ive said, ive probably pinned my pecs at least 15x around the same exact area with zero probs with same kind of pin and all. Thats what really boggles my mind for this to all of a sudden happen today.

Just got home and out of the shower. Site is now bruised the size of a half dollar coin and a tad swollen. When i glide my hand over it i can feel its slightly swollen. No redness and zero pain, even when i put pressure on it. I can flex my pec no prob and lift my arm over my head no prob. Just a tad swollen and bruised pretty good now.

Woke up today and all felt and looked better. I now just have a bruise like i got shot by a paintball gun close range where i injected. Theres no swelling and no hardness behind the skin now so im sure thats a great sign. Really no pain except from the bruise itself. No redness, hot, nothing like that. Took yesterday and today off from the gym just to recup a little. Just scared the hell outa me seein a golf ball sittin on my pec like that, crazy stuff. Anyways, it still like it if some guys could help answer my questions i asked a few posts above, that would be great! Thanks!
