I injected a little piece of the rubber stopper...

    Hey guys,

I was doing a 2cc shot in my left shoulder when I noticed a tiny particle in the oil moving toward the needle as I was injecting the oil. By the time I realized it was there, it had already went into the needle and inside me. I have been drawing with an 18g and injecting with a 23g. Now when I say tiny, I mean like smaller than a grain of sand. I've noticed the 18gs tend to chew up the stopper more on the vials. Anyway, I'm not to worried about it but I thought I'd ask. Do you think this will cause any trouble/infection? Thanks

no, your body will grow scar tissue around it to incapsulate it. It's now a part of you, you are one with the rubber chunk

Reason #6 I don't use big ass needle to "draw" then switch out to inject

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't too worried but I figured I'd ask.

If it makes you feel any better, just look at all the ppl that have filthy tainted shrapnel in them, or bullets/fragments in their heads even. Its left in if too risky and lived with...

I don't even want to get into the undeveloped fetal twin living in one guys brain. He lives a normal life, just with plenty of ibprofen, lol
