Using T3 in a lean bulk cycle, for its' protein synthesis properties

Stats: 28 Male, 5'-10" 186lbs @ 9% BF (Yes, I have had it measured)
Cycle experience: 4 cycles under my belt (2 of which I was to young and didn't know what I was doing) including these compounds: Test E, Test Cyp, Test P, Tren E, D-bol
Note: I haven't cycled in a little over a year.
Goal this cycle: Gain 10lbs of lean muscle while dropping around 2% BF, so in hopes of these after cycle stats: 196lbs @ 7% BF

Proposed Cycle:
weeks 1-10 Test Prop, 150mg EOD
weeks 1-7 T3, 25mcg ED
weeks 7-10 oral Winstrol, 50mg ED
weeks 1-10 Adex, .25mg EOD
PCT: weeks 11-14, Nolva 40/20/20/20, Clomid 100/50/50/25

Critique of the cycle is fine, but what I am really after is your options on what this addition of T3 will bring to this cycle? I have been talking to JiGGaMaN who is running t3 in his lean bulk as well and he is happy with the results thus far. This is my first time trying t3 but I figured it would help me stay lean while consuming roughly 300 cals over maintenance due to its' protein/carb/fat burning properties and the added protein synthesis is icing on the cake. What do you T3 experts think?

You will have to try it and see how it does for you....some people like T3..i personally dont think its worth a crap...If jigga says it works for him then that is great...but you will get 100 different answers.

very true, everyone's body reacts differently to different compounds. Just looking for some opinions here. Bigmax, thank you for yours.

I would run clen instead of t3....t3 is catabolic....clen is anti-catabolic

I have tried clen and I wasn't to impressed! New to t3 but wanting to give it a shot.

I have run t3 before but to tell you the truth since I was on so many different things.........
tren e 400mg /w
test e 500mg /w
clen 120mcg /d
t3 100mcg /d
adderall xr 30mg x2 /d

It was hard for me to tell what the 't3' was doing if anything...... Just hard to pin point anything. I did lose bf and leaned up quite a bit but that could be from a combination of things obviously..... diet, other compouds etc...etc.. =/ sorry I wasn't much help but I still plan on running t3 even though I can't pin point it's effects...

^^^^It's all good tripmachine, thanks for the input. T3 is so cheap I am wondering why more people don't add it to their cycles.
How long did you run the t3 for and did you have any sides when you came off it (ex. weight gain, slow metabolism)?

With that much juice it wont be catabolic for sure. Try it and see what happens. think it is a good idea

Low doses of t3 during a bulking cycle is actually anabolic.

im personally not a big t3 fan ....under any circumstances....thats just me. Have tried it under diff circumstances - dont really like it all that much......

That's kinda what I was thinking. Hell, guess it doesn't hurt to try it out at small doses.

yeah I think more-or-less the incresed protein synthesis that low doses of t3 induce is what ultimately makes it anabolic.

I know bro I was just messing around. Back in college my friends and I hated the time-released one's, we def. preferred the salts. It was all good until you had a smurf booger hanging half-way out of your nose while trying to spit game at a chick, lol!

Here's another question, if I start at 25mcg (which is what my body produces naturally) then total t3 amount would be 50mcg (25mcg naturally + 25mcg synthetic). So how long will it be before my body stops producing the 25mcg naturally due to the addition of synthetic t3? Ideally I would like to start at 25mcg synthetic t3 and then up it to 50mcg whenever my natural t3 production is hindered.

the body converts T4 to T3 and reverse T3 which is a T3 antagonist (binds to receptor sites without being active, thus blocking some of the potential effects of T3). At 25mcg a day you can suppress T4/T3 production but at the same time it suppresses the conversion to reverse T3 making 25mcg/day significantly more effective than what the body produces endogenously. I have reason to suspect endogenous production is around 10-20mcg/day but no time to find the exact info.

Thanks Jigga that makes since. So, you are saying that 25mcg is actually a little more t3 than the body produces naturally.

Have you ever bumped your dosage of 25mcg up to 50mcg? If so, did the fat burning properties increase much?

To be honest, for your goals I don't see the point of adding t3 at all.

I also don't see how you're going to get 10 lbs heavier while dropping 2% bodyfat (which by the way = 13.02 lbs of muscle added) while consuming ONLY 300kcals over maintenance... particularly with the addition of a metabolic accelerator. It isn't even to say that you're running tren, which'd increase feed efficiency, or a nutrient partitioning agent of some sort.

I think your approach is flawed.

Furthermore, for increased protein synthesis et. al., I wouldn't go over 12.5 mcg of t3.

The adderall is for ADD..... but it also works wonders for working out as well..... gets me all energetic / pumped up and ready to lift. Obviously that's not what the main purpose of the drug is for.... ADD is the main reason.

Thanks for the reply Nark but I do feel as though my goal is obtainable through this cycle and diet. As far as the diet goes, I have finally got to a point where I can fine tune my cals for the appropriate goal. So I am going to be starting around maintenance and if I am not gaining then I will simply up the cals a bit. As far as the dosage of T3 you suggested, doesn't our bodies produce around 25mcg? So by only adding in 12.5mcg exogenous t3 to my body it will shut down my endogenous t3 production (25mcg) eventually, so therefore I will have reduced my total t3 production to only 12.5mcg? Am I understanding this correctly, because this makes no since to me if so?
