    seized gear

    I ordered my first cycle and 3 weeks later i got an empty parcel in the mail with a notice frm homeland security (USA) saying they seized my gear. A few day later I got some papers in the mail from CBP saying they seized my gear and it is illegal to import, . . .blah blah blah. As far as I cant tell there is no fine or penalty, they just seized it. Does this sound accurate? Has anyone else had similar happenings? DOes anyone know if there is a limit to the number of times stuff in my name can get seized with no repercussions other than seizure?

    as long as it isnt a shit load you *should* be fine..
    it happens .. change addy, send your guy a copy of the letter and have him reship.. most solid guys will reship.

    It happens all the time.

    Its part of the game bro.

    If an address is red flagged several times, you might be in some trouble.

    Best to use P.O. Boxes IMO.

    I thought the same thing about P.O. boxes but my source told me they are more likely to get seized then regular addresses.

    That sucks you got hit on your first cycle. We didn't get hit till our fourth of fifth time. Change addy's and keep your order low so the burn won't hurt so bad.

    Man they cant do anything to you because they cant prove that you ordered it, just say some guy in the gym hates you and did it out of spite to get you in trouble after you took away his girlfriend. Even the chicken lawyer from Futurama can get you out of it clean.

    At least you got your letter fairly quick, I had to wait 4 months to get mine. In that time, I re-ordered and received my products at the same address.

    I don't know if it helped, but the same week I bought a lot of little things off ebay from over sea's buyers. Phone charger, necklace, braclets, little things that has to go through customs.

    Agreed on this one. Getting your gear in 4 days and having a low to no risk of seizure is worth the extra few dollars.

    Also, how can they know it is gear if it is shipped in non descript packaging with papers and invoices of a common substance such as soap or lotion? What if the product wasn't prohibited, did they open my sh*t and remove some of it for testing?

    Because a package with tracking goes through a separate checking. You think custom agents are stupid? You need tracking for lotion or soap package? Especially when the package is coming out (most likely an obscure area). So they run it through screens and if they see something suspicious they open it and what they find is confiscated till testing is done then you get a letter.

    I still think the best form of shipping is EMS, some may wonder why I say that. That is because EMS (Express Mail Shipping) is not checked by customs but rather shipping personnel hired by customs and thus the chances of them checking packages is lower because the people checking are independently hired not customs agents.

    I had 3 satchels get seized, and 3 weeks later I got the letter of death. (The gay lube documents the company put in didn't seem to fool customs lol)

    Reshipped everything to a buddies house and it was fine.

    However, I have since moved, think my new address is good?

    i would be very carefull from any gear comeing from that compny ,its dirty,painfull,crashes ,they have the worste rep on the net.
