    No.

Everything would have to be ideal... you'd have to have the slowest metabolism ever, and you'd have to be eating like 9000 calories a day. If you're trying to bulk, you should not be doing mass amounts of cardio, especially every single day.

You still need to do cardio, all the worry about eating muscle and enlarging the hard are for the most part excuses for people not to run while cycling. For the vast vast majority moderate amounts of cardio are ok while cycling. This will help keep your lipid profiles from going to shit, it will help keep your BP down as much as possible lastly it will help keep your heart healthy.

Having said that, excessive cardio coupled with heavy weight lifting and performing valsalva maneuver with that while on cycle can in some individuals lead to Left Ventrical hypertropy (LVH), which in even fewer individuals can lead to heart pathology.

There is a medical bias against LVH even in athletes thats says any enlargement of the heart is always a pathological condition. I have seen this first hand working with even some of the best cardiologist in the world. In the exercise field it is well understood that LVH is a normal physiological adaptation to chronic aerobic exercise, and heavy weight lifting with accompanied valsalva maneuver.

I completely disagree. I'm currently bulking and I haven't done any cardio whatsoever, or abs, for the last 2 1/2 months. (when I'm not bulking I run 1.5 hours each day, and 25 minutes of abs ED)

The reason for not running: at my metabolism. My body burns calories like no other, especially when doing cardio. If I was actually to run 3 miles each day, I probably wouldn't have gained a single pound of the cycle.

I guessed you missed the part were I said moderate amounts of cardio. 1.5 hours of cardio is not considered moderate. But hey its your heart, I am just a dumb exercise physiologist what could I possible know.....

I actually read that part. Even if I did 10 minutes a day of cardio I would have lost substantial gains. Thats why the only cardio I've been doing lately is walking from my computer to the kitchen. hah!

The part I missed was "for the vast vast majority," I guess I'm not part of that demographic..
