    Potentially idiotic Nolvadex question..

Right this may seem odd to ask this but its something i have read a few times and confused me.

Is it possible to use Nolvadex by itself as a Testosterone booster?

I dont mean as a PCT drug, or stacked with any other anabolics, just alone. I ask because i have read various profiles on this that claim to raise testosterone levels by anywhere from 150 to 183%. Now this isnt a lot i know, but to someone who may have low natural test levels or wants to remain natural, could this be of any benefit? Or would the lack of Oestrogen during the Nolva cycle negate any possible anabolic benefits?

Like i said, this may sound odd but ive spent a good half hour reading various write ups and profiles on Nolva and this appears in most of them.

im not sure if it would raise the test levels enough to get any gains. im pretty sure its only used to get your levels back to baseline after a cycle.

    Exactly.
OP if you are into researching this then you need to realise by what mechanism of action tamoxifen is able to raise testosterone, this will show you why it wouldn't work.

    In the normal men, tamoxifen significantly reduced 24-h mean serum GH (1.1 +/- 0.3 to 0.5 +/- 0.1 micrograms/L, P < 0.05), mean GH pulse amplitude (8.4 +/- 1.7 to 4.7 +/- 0.4 micrograms/L, P < 0.05), and serum IGF-I (1.0 +/- 0.1 to 0.7 +/- 0.1 U/mL, P < 0.001).

^^also an interesting read for people that don't believe Nolvadex is more effective by mg then clomid
