Paying with Credit Card?

Have any of you guys ever paid via credit card? Most sources that I have tried and looked at accept ONLY Western Union payment (or bank to bank). I have come across a source that seems legit and accepts credit cards as well as WU money order.

If they accept credit card, does it automatically mean a BS source? Or is it possible? Should I play it safe and only try sources that only accept WU?

Shouldn't ask this openly bro... but 99 percent of those sites are bunk..not all but the vast majority. But why put your info out there like that, less of a papertrail, the better

no it does not automatically mean its a bs source. there are some legit sources out there that accept credit cards. Western union is the way to go in my opinion though.

When i first started out i used a couple of sites that offer offshore cc payments.
Never a problem because these offshore cc processors are used by tens of thousands of ppl making legitimate transactions.

I would not recommend the CC# it leaves a paper trail stick with the anon ways dude.

Plus if it is a scam they now have your CC number and can do what they want. Think your gonna press charges against someone in china?

Thats not true bud, as i have said you don't give the site you're CC number, a secure legitimate offshore processors is the only one who gets that.

if you ARE going to use a credit card...get one of those Visa gift cards with the amount you need and use that, that way if it is a scammer they can't do any more damage

I was never going to use it in the first place, as they offer WU payment as well. I just wanted to know if credit card was an option it would = BS source.

I used a credit card once, and my order came quickly with no problems. However, most sites that I've used that say they offer credit card payment, at the time of payment will ask for wire transfer.

I have used cc before,i do not know how anonymous that makes them.Now tho nothing but WU is all i use.

personally, i would always want to use a credit card. Just remember, when it comes to CC, you (the cardholder) has all the power. If you get scammed, you just call your CC company up, tell them someone used your card fraudulenty or you didnt get what you paid for, and you get your money back. Its that simple, trust me. The company who charges your card has absolutely no protection against this unless you signed a reciept, and im sure you didnt. and btw, tracking numbers or signatures from a tracking # mean nothing.

just ship it to a different address then yours, and if there is ever a problem with the law, deny it and tell them it was fraud.

very true... with the amount of credit card theft out there, you have total control of your order placed via credit card. When you send cash via WU, you are pretty much screwed if you didn't receive anything.

PS: WU has camera's for the most part, if they wanted, they could still figure out who sent the money and nail your face to the payment. I'd rather them try to nail my credit card (having me say it was stolen) than having a legit pic of my face... Something to think about?

Good advice here, but i'd just stick with WU if i were you.

After seeing this I had to post my experience. I have used both WU and CC for the same thing mentioned. WU first everything fine CC next never got before 30 days expired I disputed charge got money back. Can't do that with WU. Paper trail hah, you think LE wants small time buyers enough to be looking for that. I recommend going with CC over WU.

This post is in the gray area of board rules, this discussion probably should stop. Many of the websites on the net are scams, and a handful are stings. However I will say, if they are legit, and they accept CC, and you want a more evident paper trail...they will scramble the statement memo so no one can readily identify what was purchased.

like it will not read "steroids from xxx.com" on your bank statement.

No. I have a legit source that accepts credit card.

i know 1 who takes paypal but its very discreet as paypal wont allow it.

have tryed ordering off site before when 1st started out gear was bunk

be carefull if ordering online.
