my girls having sexual sides.. no sex drive... she is going through a bit of a depressions and has started to take prozac.. she want's her sex drive to kick back in..

i remember when she was having this issue on var, i had a vet recommend that she takes a 50mg shot of test e every two weeks to deal with the issue...

wanted to see how safe this is..

do i need anc drugs for her?? a-dex???

does she need a pct??

Women don't need PCT, how many women you know with testicles? I would have her go to the doctor, because self medicating is a shot in the dark. Could be a physical or pshychological problem.

pct's arn't for testicles directly... they'r for hormonal imbalances due to steroid use....

you use a steroid, u usualy need a pct.... sounds pretty logical here..

but what do i know... that's why im asking

I dont know what her income and insurance is like but if she has it F* it and use it. A Docs going to have alot better and potent stuff, and hopefully if the docs good it will be the right stuff the first time

Antidepressants (especially Prozac and Zoloft) commonly have the side effect of decreasing a person's sexual drive. A more obvious reason for why a woman may not desire sex is because she simply does not desire the person she is considering having sex with. Not my words, but food for thought.

Worked with quite a few female BB's and can say from what I have seen you should not have any "androgenic" issues with her at that dose. That said, I think seeing a Dr is a much better course of treatment.

every once in awhile i would get girls that are like that. no sex drive and there boxes dont get wet. so im like wtf. they want to **** but cant. then i noticed that ones with the issues all were on prozac. it must be a side effect. can u get her off that? maybe work on that issue with her than she dont have to take anything.

yup your right n im wrong just we produce upto 40-60 times more testosterone than they do.............
ive been reading that different SERMs can have differing effects on the female menstral cycle,
personally i would maybe just taper down weekly and let her body get it back together herself............
From what i have read pct is not really needed if she is not on a long cycle,
i would go get advice however from a doctor if shes on a long cyle..........

this talk of cycles and her taking any steroids is a complete joke.

Reason for- sex drive.... She's on prozac, it won't matter if she is on 500mgs/week of testosterone, she still will not have any sex drive while being on prozac if she suffers from sexual side effects with SSRI's.

Tell her to see her doctor so he can prescribe a anti - depressant that won't give her sides. It's hit or miss with those types of drugs.

When I was taking SSRI's the doc offered to prescribe Wellbutrin to offset any sexual side effects I might get. Wonder if it's the same with females

cant say i like the idea of giving her test... this is why im asking...

i think we're gonna give it some time... she started taking the prozac on thursday and it usualy takes two weeks to fully kick in..

depression can be a bitch (trust me i know first hand).....

i think imma have her get some bloodwork done and double check everything before i go about injecting shit in her.... thx guys.. appreciate the info

i WOULD NOT..... and i REPEAT...... WOULD NOT giver her ANY AAS!

As much as it sucks for the 2 of you.... her sex drive is the lesser of 2 evils. The depression is what matters here..... i don't think screwing with her hormones is going to fix anything. Even if the 50mg's/wk of test brought back her sex drive, which it may not due to the prozac, it going to have an effect on her mentally. Any mental or physiological change for her while shes combatting depression is not going to help.

Her best bet is to goto her doctor and tell him whats going on and that shes not happy with not having a sex drive.

My wife is going through the same thing..... the problem for me tho is that she doesn't want to have a conversation w/ her doctor about having no sex drive..... now THATS frustrating......

you should have told her to try accupuncture before going on psyciatric drugs
from my own expereince in the past she can take a drug holiday but it only works with ssris that have shorter half life like paxil which i used in the past. or she could try st.johns wort which has less side effects or she could swich to snri which is supposedly has less negative impact on sd but not count on that

and somthing to add. psychiatric drugs has negative influence on endocrine system on the long run like low testtosterone which i exprienced first hand

My wife takes 18 mgs ew of cyp. Working very well, you have to becareful because it makes them get very wet down stairs which can cause them problems by itself. If you do decide to do it, which I feel is a bad idea, I would take her off the anti-d's and work naturaly to help her depression, I would start at 2mgs ed for a month(figure what that adds up to for 1 shot of test-e ew), give it time, around week three she will just start to really feel it and keep an eye on her clit becoming enlarged. Ive heard of womens clits start growing at 25 mgs ew.

yea guys, im working with her to get this shit together... it's really putting a strain on our relationship...

i do agree with you guys about holding off on the test shots.. why possibly add to the issue...

I'd have to agree with everyone that it's the anti-d's. When i was on them do to having to stop playing sports, the first thing my doctor would always ask was how was my sex drive and if i felt it was decreasing. If shes willing to see a doctor about it, since shes only 24, it could probably easily be fixed.

but im pretty rough with my chick already (i dont beat her or nothing).. we grapple together.. she knows how to take down a 6'4 275lb guy without issues and choke him out...
