Gains have stalled
Hey guys,
In week 8 of a 12 week cycle of Test E (400mg/wk) and just added anavar two days ago. I got a new vial of questionable origin for week 7.
As of right now, my weight has stalled at 210 (it's been there since week 6), and I honestly feell ike my strength my almost be decreasing a little bit. It certainly hasn't gone up.
Is it normal to plateau even in a cycle? Could it be a fake bottle? Opinions are greatly appreciated.

im in week 10 of a 12 week cycle of test e 500. i have also platued, iv gained about 18 pounds. up ur calorie intake 500...i just upped mine 500 and instead of 12 weeks im going 14 weeks...hope this helps bro

You could have hit your plateau . If every one that took gear kept lifting more and more week to week we would all be throwing cars around and be monsters.

I gotcha. Does your tolerance level to the increased test also change? So you guys think it's probably not due to a fake vial? Still get palpitations at night.

palpitations That is not a good thing. Faster heart rate is o.k. But palpitations is irregualer heart beat and needs to be delt with by a Doc.

Thanks Chap, the guy who got it for me swears the source is good, as he's used the stuff before. I don't know personally who made it, though. I mean my heart rate is up at night.

not sure if this helps but on all my cycles i put on around 12 lbs very early like wk 2-3 literaly almost overnight. then the rest of the cycle i dont gain an ounce but my body composition contuies to change very well and even though i dont gain weight my strength continues to increase until im off

It's called law of diminishing returns, longer you subject the body to a stimulus the less response it will give as time goes on. Most likely you are stalling because your body is becoming accustomed or you are losing fat while gaining muscle and thus maintaing weight.

we all have a plateu weight, remember to get over that you will have too maybe tryout one of those kits the growth hormone ones.... that will help you keep gaining and you will become a monster, maybe its time to try something different (work out wise) remember shocking your muscles is what makes the grow.
i did the week off thing and it worked great

so we have a beginner who's plateauing and the first thing you recommend is GH, not good advice at all, and even if he did take it it will not make him a monster, GH takes several months before you even see the benefits of it, much less during a cycle where he only has a few weeks left

not to thread jack but I'm on my first cycle and I feel the same way at week 9 of 500mg test e. weight going up but not so much in strength

the main problem i see with most people is not eating enough...if you start out at 200 pounds and are gaining off of 4000 calories a day and you get to 210...4000 is only maintenance then so you need 4500...then you get to 215-220 and stall again...need to up the calories again...your body can't gain off the same calories that you gained at 200 when you reach more weight

taking a week off mid-cycle isn't bad sometimes...off the weights not the juice that is...sometimes in training if your training heavy all the time your CNS gets dampened and it's good to have a deload week...i deload every 6-8 weeks no matter what i'm taking...usually i wont stay out of the gym completely but at least just do a couple high sets with light weight to push some blood for recovery

You need to prime your body for further growth. Read the anabolic slingshot training thread by ronnie rowland. plateaus are the body's defense mechanism to maintain homeostasis. You need to incorporate the proper measures to confuse the body and propel it to grow further. Inducing controlled catabolism for brief periods by differentiating methods of training and diet manipulation (ie, carb cycling) you will propel yourself further each time you go back. If you just keep pushing forward your progress will eventually stagnate.

it worked great for me.. i have taken longer off..now that growth hormone crap... idk.
