when to take blood test?
ok, so it obvious before you go on cycle take your blood before you administer anything.
1. while "on" should you take periodically like third way through, halfway through and three qrtr way through? or just at halfway?
2. when should blood levels return to "normal" or pre-cycle form? during pct, right after pct, or sometime after pct?
3. or do blood levels returning to pre-cycle level depend on the type of compounds you have taken?
hope this isnt all over the place...thanks for the in site fellas...

I would only take blood tests on your cycle if you have ever previously had any health problems. Your test and estro results on a cycle are going to be WAY out of the "within normal limit" doctors range and depending on the doc, they might try and put you on some crap to control it.
Personally I would wait until a month after your PCT to get your post blood work done that way your levels should be stabilized or if the results show that your levels aren't stabilized by that time, you will need that doc to help you get them back to normal.
That is just my opinion. Someone else might be able to add more input!
Good luck

thanks for your reply but i know that the levels out of the normal when on thats why we take before, during and after to find out what compounds effects what.
my question is geared more to someone who "knows" and not an opinion of when they should be taken properly.
again thanks...

1)I get my blood work done about every four weeks. This can get expensive if you dont have insurance though. Also it helps to be honest with your doctor and see if he will help you along. If he wont my advice is to find one who will. I do it this often for many reasons. Like, making sure my estrogen levels arent too high, make sure the test levels are up, check my RBC's and my lipid profile, and to get a good look at my cholesterol levels ect. Checking all these things gives me a good look at my changes to make sure they are all healthy ones and it basically gives good piece of mind, which is a big deal to me while on cycle.
2)Blood levels return to normal after PCT. Thats why a PCT is critical! It makes your body get back to its natural state faster, thus reducing the risk for health problems and long term side effects. How long depends on alot of variables like your bodies recovery time, everyone is different, and the compunds you introduced to it. I am sure you know there are different "levels", for lack of a better word, of steroids .
3)Blood levels returning to normal again is determined by alot of different factors. For instance, the harsher more anabolic or androgenic compound used the recovery time may take longer. Also, you are putting more of a level of needed hormones in your body. This is the sole reason things like natural test shut down. Your body has the amazing ability to balance itself out but adding or reducing hormones amongst other things. The last part is very impratant:You do run the risk of your body not geting back to its natural state. Lets face it, sometimes our body does not recover fully or at all. That is one of the biggest reasons it is said time and time again that people under the age of around 24 SHOULD NOT use steroids . Why would you want to run the risk of shuttng down your natty test amongst other things when your body it producing the most it ever will? Again your body is dirrerent from everyone elses...there are guidelines to stay the safest as possible but your body will react different. find what works for you.....
Hope this helped....Sorry for the novel.Last edited by Spartan ^; 04-23-2009 at 09:44 AM. Reason: i cant fukin spell!

for me...
i dont bother getting my bloodwork done while on cycle...
only reason id do that is if you think your gear is bunk (no gains, weird libido problems etc), your sides are ridiculous, or you have other concerns
i do like to get it checked before cycle to make sure im starting a cycle at normal levels
and i wait till im off pct for about a month till i get bloodwork.
