    Safe Clen? Help!

Hey everyone, i have been recently diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and have been on inflamatory steroids (prednisone) for the past 2 months, the dr has decided that i can lower my doseage of prednisone and I was finally hoping that I could take some of the clen I have laying around to lose some of the fat mass I have gained over the past months.... my question is: Is it safe for me to take clen while on other medications, I know that prednisone is a steroid ... but any info would help and would be greatly appreciated,

    cheers all

I've had Crohn's Disease for 4 yrs now. I am also a medical professional. Please, please wait until at least one year of being free from flare-ups to start Clen or anything else. Much too soon right now. As for the Prednisone, it is certainly NOT the same as anabolic steroids . The weight gain you are experiencing is from the Prednisone and will not be shed with Clen. The weight will dissipate once you discontinue Prednisone, and it will take time. I tapered from 100mg daily and it took 9 months to lose the weight and come off the Prednisone. It is NOT fat. You will lose it...without exercise or calorie restriction. Consume plenty of water. Studies show at this point that Predisone is no more effective in treating IBD than the standard IBD meds combined with antibiotics. I will never use it again. I have cycled Clen (being disease free for over 2 years) without a problem. Keep your diet low in carbs and very high in protein. Supplement with protein shakes/bars in addition to your meals. Please wait until you are healthy, as your large intestine still has significant ulcerations at this point in time. Be well.
