how much to take a day?

hey fellows, just got 80 pills 250mg of tetracycline. I'm using it to fight acne. how many pill should I take a day? Thanks

ok confirm if my math is right. the recommended dosage state that it should taken 1g to 2g per day.

So if 1g ----equal-------->1000mg

then I'm thinking:
1g ----is equivalent to------> 4 pills x 250mg ----which is----->1000mg

conclusion; I will have to take 4 to 8 pills a day, is that a fair regiment? Your suggestion.
I know my math is right but I 'd like to hear from medically savvy user. thanks

I took it but I never took that many pills a day. that seems off. idk how mine were dosed though.

I took 500 mg twice a day on an empty stomach for a 3 month period. Didn't do great for me

I think you should talk all of them at once..

usual does is 250mg four times a day, for acne oxytetracycline usually bears better results

Is you're acne a product of steroid use (IE: overactive sebacious glands) because if it is then don't expect much from a broad spectrum anti -b that is used to treat bacterial acne.

make sense but the next question, then, is for how long or when do u know to stop? is it after 4wks, 8wks, or 6mos??

I was always prone to mild acne since high school; so after three cycles over the last few yrs they partially went from bad to worst, then, to bad? Now I'm trying to eradicated them once and for all.
