why do gains slow down at the end?
why is it as your cycle is about to end in a week or two, the gains slow down than when you started?

Your body adapts to all the drugs your using.
Same with caffiene.. need more and more to get that buzz the longer you use it.

not really , i believe the gains slow down because they become more qualitative over time , i am one that believes in really long cycles, but dont recommend it to a beginner at all really.
i dont believe the body gets used to testosterone , its not really a drug bro's , its something the body compose , and never get "used to it" like caffeine and stuff .
testosterone was , is and always will be effective . all hail the KING!

You actually get used to practically everything in life and build up a tolerance.

Wrong, its called receptor downregulation. Your muscle receptors become oversaturated and thus over time be less responsive to the stimulus (test/tren /deca /whatever). The way to upregulate is "cycling", one to let the body rest and bounce back and another is to let the receptors naturally upregulate.

one thing not mentioned is aspects like water retention that add to the initial bulk and then slow later

hey silver whats up. Actually the body disposes of excess test the same way it does caffeine. Cyp enzyme. This process is responsible for drug tolerance increases in people ..or at least reduced effectiveness. I personally tend to agree with immortal re: downregulation = although many say that that isnt so - that the body creates new receptors. My personal opinion is that the body in no way can create new receptor sites nearly fast enough to make up for the saturation of existing recpetors. JMO
