Novaldex vs Clomid?

I read an article the other day that said that they basically do the same thing. Also it said that you have to take twice as much clomid to novaldex, and that clomid has more side effects due to the higher dose and can cause some pretty bad acne.

The article recommended using novaldex instead of clomid.

But it seems like pct's proposed by members on this board always recommend running both clomid and novaldex together. Why is this?

Could you get away with a novaldex only pct? Also if you experience testicle shrinkage in the course of your cycle, do you have to use hcg to get size back? Or can you skip hcg and rely on novaldex to get size back? Will it accomplish this on it's own?

I guess what I'm really wondering is if you can have successful pct with just novaldex?

people get vision problems with clomid.... the faster your natural test levels come back and u get stable the more u will keep.. hcg helps that.. although diet has to do with it too.. but not doing proper pct could cause u to crash for months.. losing all u gained

?? that thread doesnt cover much on PCT, it looks like its geared towards controlling gyno on cycle. and i didnt see any mention of HCG in the whole post.

NM, i just noticed the PCT stuff starts a few posts down. a mod should delete the posts in between.

clomid is more effective than nolva in some respects. It has been documented in male fertility studies etc. The combo allows benfits of both and a lower clomid dosage by combining nolva as well . Also is sides ar an issue take pct meds at night before bed....no sides. To sum it up ...id use both...and if i personally was hell bent and could for whatever reason only use one.....id pick clomid (obviously silly and unneccsary but JMO)

I don't run clomid and nolva...clomid affects my vision so I just don't use it...depending on your cycle you can get away with nolva only for pct...usually with stacks I use adex/nolva....nolva will not bring your boys back to normal...thats what hcg is for....
