    Very Low Natural Test

    31 yrs old, 6'4", 218 lbs, 12% bf

My last cycle Test E and Deca. My PCT was the Anthony Roberts PCT that i finished 7/15/08.

I then had blood work done on 10/25/08 at which time my Test was:
    Total 328, 250-1100
    Free % 1.73, 1.5 - 2.2
    Free 56.7, 35 - 155
So my Test was in the lower range.

I just had more blood work done which i recieved today. They were suppose to get free test as well but did not. so they drew more blood today, HOwever my results were:
    Test, Serum 221, 241 -827

The doctor setting me an appointment with a urologist and will be sending the blood work to him which will include free test.
He said I may need to get on testosterone patch.

    1. Will this inhibit my ability to have children?
    2. Is there any chance that this was something freak and will correct itself?
    3. Do i tell the urologist and doctor that I have used juice or will that effect what my insurance pays for?

any other concerns I should have?

    thanks.

One thing that is never really preached on here is getting your blood work done b4 your first ever cycle. Lot of times people already had a low level of test naturally and now it is impossible to determine.

Lets say that i wait six months or a year and it stays at 221.
What if it just stayed 221 forever, what are the downsides to leaving it at that low of level? I just wont see muscle gains? a little less sexual activity? what else?

I would imagine a endo would be looking for ways to stimulate rather then put you on HRT at 31. 221 is low, but not to the point where it should cause muscle deterioration or joint pain. I would hate TRT at 31. Sure you get into a routine of injecting, but its still a pain in the arse to always have to think about it.
But I'm 51 and thats the price one pays to freeze time for a while. How do you reconcile in YOUR mind having to inject for the rest of your life. Look for options first!

yes, I would perfer not doing TRT. Taking a shot every week would suck but the bigger issue would be inability to have kids.

guys guys guys , jesus christ , why do everybody fear going on TRT so much , wether in your late 20's 30's ...etc.........its all good , to me personally , i thank god that we have TRT , its such a great thing IMO .

think about it like that : dont you brush your teeth everyday ? dont you drink water SEVERAL times a day ..............etc ....... do you EVER think that you will be doing this stuff for your whole life until you kick it ??? NO.

THAT is how you shall think about that testosterone shot , and its only once or twice and week and takes a mingling tingling 2-3 minutes

RESULT : feeling young and like a rockstar 24/7

    you choose.

TRT does not make you sterile if you arent before you begin it , low test does not mean

    that you are sterile .

    or

    freeze sperm just in case

or you can try HCG during your TRT to keep ur nuts .

    many options.

Is this true. Every thread I have read about this topic says that it does make you sterile?

it makes you sterile while you are on it , yes , but if you want to have children , you can always do a good """pct""" and stop it .

if you are fertile before you begin i dont think there is a reason to think that you wont be after it.

but theirs a certain point of no return. dosent matter how much pct you do once you body decides to shut down completely after so many years of hrt then it will never start producing its own test ever.

Would my low test explain why after missing only a couple of workouts I see a lot of strength loss?

Hey bro. Started TRT after having levels similar to yours. Im 30 years old as well and was concerned with having kids. If I look at my wife she gets pregnant. So I came off sometime in the fall of 08 did a killer PCT and my son is due in July. This is my 3rd and last kid btw

But man you feel so much better when on.

I appreciate you and everyone responding. I have couple more questions.
    1) How long were you on TRT before you came off and did a PCT?

    2) I see above in this thread some guys are only prescribed 100mg a week and feel like crap, what is the trick to getting the right amount from doctor?

    3) Lastly but importantly, If i were put on TRT and lets say for arguement sake that i was put on 150mg a week by my doctor. What is the risk in upping to 250 mg a week for twelve weeks? I am sure this is already covered in a thread somewhere so if anyone can paste me the link that would be fine too. but I guess if your on for life is there any danger in doing a couple cycles a year where you just increase the does?

It MIGHT be possible to have kids. My doc was able to use HcG to get my boys working enough to have two kids. I tried staying natural but my levels tanked again in about 6 months time.

Yeah, I am willing to try anything to get my boys working normal.
I do recall when I did my last cycle that I felt so unbelievably good after taking Test, within a couple days of first shot i felt like a different person. My buddies said it was in my head but now it makes sense.

    1) i dont know
    2) 100mg a week is much higher than the average male produces each week so if your feeling like crap it is something other than your test levels
    3) i doubt there is that much more risk in bumping it to 250mg instead of 150mg but if your worried about having children then i would be more concerned about that than gaining weiight.
you need to go see a diffrent doctor, either a endo or one that specializes in hrt/trt.
