Anyone get depressed while on gear??
Just wondering if anyone gets depressed while doing a cycle??
I am finally getting back into shape after being sick for a ~9 month period before this cycle and I am feeling healthy and having a ton of energy and for some odd reason I am depressed.
I do not know what it can be from. I know 2 friends that recently both lost their dads at the age of 50 something this week. I just can't put my mind on it and was thinking that was it.
Just wondering if anyone gets depressed at all? Maybe you do something to cheer yourself up??

I may get depressed during the PCT while my body is trying to stabilize the hormones.

Mild depression from time to time is normal.
Depression is classed as a mental disorder when it interrupts your regular daily life.
I wouldn't worry about it. It's probably just a passing faze.
There are a million and one triggers for depression.
If you want to snap yourself out of it change your physiology. If you stand upright as you would with confidence and strength and pride, chin up, back straight, chest out, then that will change your mood to the new physiology.
Also making stupid faces in the mirror everyday relieves depression (they've actually done studies that show this, also I think they found just doing this is as effective as SSRI's -happy pills- but I'll have to check that).
Diet can also have a big impact on mood. Have you changed anything with diet lately?
Anyway like I said, it's normal to experience mild depression. I wouldn't worry about it.

I have felt it abit.
My opinion is the use of steriods basically just amplifies who your are and what you feel.
It won't make you depressed but if you are depressed it could make it alittle worse.

Could be the hormones adjusting. I get it a bit into PCT mainly like 2nd and 3rd week is worst.

I had a long illness not to long ago. Lost a ton of weight and was pretty depressed, mainly cause I was sick of being sick. When I got better and got back to the gym 100% I got depressed somewhat again because all my hard work had been lost.

Believe you me I seriously thought about not going back. I was a different person for awhile. When I look back at it, I just didnt care about any of the normal things I liked. I just told myself that I needed to Man Up and get through it. There were a lot of people that had way worse problems than me. Eventually I got my ass back in the gym and suddenly felt better about myself after only a few weeks in the gym.

I had the same event happen to me before this new cycle. I was sick for ~9 months and was on prednasolone for like 3 months and all types of other shit and I put on at least 30 lbs from having to stay home and in. I could only eat like basic shit, like white pasta with a tiny bit of butter, everything else I would just throw up from the insane post nasal drip, even if i drank a gatorade i would throw up.
I had not gone to the gym to close to 10 months and up 30lbs of fat and water. And now I am 3 weeks in diet cardio and my cycle was this past week. I am down 14 lbs and up a good amount of strength and making great gains.

I generally avoid emotional situations if at all possible during PCT...Never happier than when I'm on cycle though...I agree with the above, make some changes in diet and lifestyle until something clicks...if you are really worried about it, try to keep a journal of your thoughts throughout the day. might find a pattern...

I third that.
I got depressed on cycle when I did tren only (loved the results, hated the limp dick). I also had a very short temper. I'm usually really calm, the strange thing was that I didn't snap for no reason. I snapped on people for doing things that ALWAYS bothered me, but where I had just always held my tongue before. Ever since that cycle my personality has been slightly different, I sort of got off on my new found assertiveness. Even though I was off the Tren and was no longer snapping. I kept most of the assertiveness after seeing people start to respect me more when I wouldn't sit back and take people's BS.
