Alprazolam and NSAIDS(NAPROXEN) safe to take??

I was prescribed to Naproxen for inflamination to an injury i recently sustained ,since its an NSAID and I was trying to get as much info I can about the the medicine, I wanted to know whats everyones opinion on taken Alprazolam(XANAX) and a NSAID , i couldn't find much info on the web and google on drug interactions with other drugs, and i didn't ask the doc if it was okay to pop a xanax when taking these nsaids if you know what i mean................

This is ok. You do not want to mix xanex with narcotic pain meds tthey can be lethal combinations.

um the question is an interaction between naproxen and alprazolam? thats not even close to a steroid question. especially since NSAID stands for NON-STEROIDAL anti-inflammatory lol. avoid working out for a few hours after xanax use. NSAIDS inhibit prostaglandin synthesis but i dont think thats a big deal in the long run. future reference, this is a steroid board, not a 'all drugs' board.

check a PDR and see if there are any interactions,,,wasnt aware of any but double check never hurts.

youre not supposed to mix nsaids with other nsaids. of course if you take another med that is a narcotic you dont want to take too much.

??? only one is an NSAID and neither are narcotics.
