Pinkish Color After Injection... Abscess or Irritation?

So I pinned Monday morning around 5am in the left quad. Second injection of my first cycle ever, 250 mg Test E(each shot). First shot last thursday was great, slight soreness for a day or two then nothing. Thatw as right quad. But this injection from Monday has been hell.

Quad was pretty sore Monday, really really sore Monday night at work (warehouse). Tuesday was pretty bad as well, I could walk, but not without a noticable limp. Wednesday, kinda sore upon waking, gradually soreness is fading and as of right now (4am thursday) is not very sore at all, just slightly sore where I injected. Whats worrying me is around the injection site it is slightly pinkish(can barely tell). Not outright red, it doesn't hurt at all, just kind of sore, and a tad bit swollen.

As you can tell I am not experienced at this, being only my second injection and all. I followed all the normal instructions, fresh needle, washed area then rubbed with alcohol, etc etc.

So what do you guys think? Just the bodies natural reaction to an injection or do I have an abscess forming?

You should be fine, especially if the pain and swelling is fading. More than likely it was just your body reacting to the compound that you were injecting into the muscle. You will get used to it over time, bit keep an eye on it just in case.

just tissue irritation i would say, I just went through the same thing mate, virgin muscle and all that. I still had alot of hardness round the site after 4 days, so I was advised to massage the area under hot water in the shower, worked a treat. If it was an infection it would be red/hot to touch and get worse over time. Few tips I picked up for less painful jabs, shower immediately before, inject slowly and massage the area thoroughly after, has helped loads.
