At what age do the gains start to slow down??
Hey whats up?
I was wondering, and wanted to hear from u older guys out there that have been working out for years.
At what age did u guys start to see a slowdown in muscle growth even though you where working out just as hard??
Im only 32, but i feel like its just not how it used to be.
Do u guys think its just in my head, or is something really going on??

I'm 37 and I have been seeing some of my best gains ever. Part of it is more knowledge in diet and lifting (God I love the internet, not just for porn...lol).

Thats great!! Do you ever wonder what might have been had you had you shit together 15 years ago? (not being smartass meaning diet , knowledge etc...) I mean i know its water under the bridge but id think u cant help but wonder.
As far as my experience im not sure its age but time doing this and time cycling etc.... My circumstances are unique right now and im making amazing gains first cycle back in a long time due to car accident. Prior to that though ,a long bulk cycle , post pct h20 loss etc if i walked away with 12 lbs solid muscle at that point was very successful. Then again there are limiting factors - genetics etc ...you will only get so big ... at least without venturing into some areas chemically that i wont go. This isnt paying my bills , it may be an obsession of sorts ...but i keep some perspective in that area. JMO....Last edited by jimmyinkedup; 05-23-2009 at 01:21 PM.

Facts always change. I remember 15 years ago all the people in the industry said that a bodybuilder hits his peak at 28. Now they say it is more like 35.
