If I wanted to condense ampules into a vial how long would the substance be good for. It would be exposed to air when drawn up and most medications need to be used with in a certain time frame. I was wondering how long sust and dec would last.

What would be the point in doing so.
Better to keep it in the sterile environment
+1 on keeping it in a sterile environment...
What reasoning would you do this for?
It's just a question as to whether or not it can be done and how long it will last. I have good reason.
its not a question of potency imo ...but sterility...and sterility would immediately be compromised.
Ok I'm assuming that you are talking about putting ampules in a multidose vial? This is fine as long as the vile is sterile. If your gear is good, you shouldn't get infections, and a lot of abcesses are caused form shooting too many ML's in a site. JMO though, I preload syringes which a lot of people say not to do, I don't see the problem with this besides the small chance of something getting through the needle which I cap after I preload. The only thing I can think of that could be a problem with preloading is possible decomposition of the stopper, which I have never had.
Since the debate has been drawn away from my original question, the sterility has been brought into question. If you draw from an ampule in an unsterile environment, which is likely to happen, what difference would it make if it was being injected into muscle than a vile. Once in the vial it will no longer be exposed and you can draw from there to inject at a later time. That's why I was asking how long it would last in there. I am yet to hear a definitive answer on the matter. Now this is not my method of choice, I just don't want a bunch of evidence laying around.
I guess it would be a lot like preloading syringes, the question then would be how long could you keep those sryinges around?
