    The negative rumors about T3!!

Ever since i started working out years ago and joined this forum about five years ago all i heard about T3 Cytomel is that it is extremly dangerous and will surely shut down your natural thyroid production forever and that bodybuilders who use it ALWAYS end up on permanent thyroid replacement therapy.

Then a few days ago i clicked on the profile here on this website and the author sais these claims are waaay exaggerated and that it wont happen, and that T3 is actually safe to use for extended periods of time at reasonable dosage.

So what is the members take on this? dangerous substance or exaggerated claims?

I am on a Clen cycle now and i have access to T3 Cytomel, should i add it for that extra fat loss? or should i save my thyroid from the permanent devastating damage caused by this substance?

    Also what are recomended dosages?

    Right now my stats:

    Age: 29 this year
    Height : 5'11"
    Weight: 78KG / 172lbs
    Bodyfat: 15%

I am doing the clen cycle for an important photoshoot, i need to reach under 10% bf.

ive taken it, and as far as i know my thyroid has recovered, most people on here will agree with me and say that it won't affect your thryoid life. How long are you planning on taking it? The longer you take it, I would think the more likly you are to expeirence problems. I only took it for 6 weeks, but i konw some people take it for months....are you on any aas? If you not you can expect to loose muslce alonge with this too.

Its not losing weight, its losing fat, around the midsection specifically, in the next 4-5 weeks.

Never had a problem with recovery of the the thyroid and to be honest in over 20yrs ive only known one person who had trouble after going on T3, but what you need to be concerned about is running it without any anabolic support because it will rob your body of muscle tissue and it creates a very catabolic environment.

    I did a T3 cycle for about 7 weeks at 25-75mcg a day.
    No problems with Thyroid.
    Side Effects:
    - Headaches in the first couple of days.
    - Weight loss!
