ok im planning to put my dad..who is 75 years on on HRT... yes kinda late i know but better than never...

he went to the endocrinologist today...without me...with my sis who know nuts...

they told me.. doc recommend him 1 injection of testosterone every 90 days! and insulin everyday ( my dad is type 2 diabetic )

my question is....

my dad has been using glucophage all these years.... never used insulin... is this necessary?

2nd question... wtf test last for 3months.... or the doc knows something i dont?

btw anyone knows if type 2 diabetic will need insulin as they age? my dad's blood glucose level has been quite stable and managable...
