    Need recommendations

I'm 47 years old, 5'8", 200 lbs and have been lifting most of my adult life. I get up at 5 am and lift 5 mornings a week. I want to gain about 15 to 20 lbs of muscle. I dont really care about strength. In other words I'm not conerned with benching 400 lbs or sqatting 700 lbs. Currently my last set of flat bench I can get 275 twice. I'd like to add 15 to 20 lbs of mucle in my chest, shoulders and quads. I cant seem to gain the muscle with out gaining belly fat.

Does anyone have a suggestion? I am not opposed to a 12 week cycle of steroids , I'm just not sure where to start.

    Thanks for your help.

This is correct you should be able to get it at the first dr you see. I recommmend getting lab work then going to a specialist .

This is what I did. I told him I want to bring my TEST levels up to an optimal level not just average for my age. I got lucky and he said O.K.

Fist of all welcome to our site....Second it sounds like an issue of diet instead of needing juice. I relate to the age though.. being 45 myself I know you'd like to see some nice results...at 5'8'' 's and 200lbs you may want to drop a few lbs to actually get that "muscular" look you are going for. IMO if you could cut the weight down to lets say 180-185 lbs and build from there it would be easier than just juicing up now and not getting the desired results due to your diet...can you post a pic so we can see what we're dealing with?...Bottom line if you are dead set on juicing ... then a 10-12 week test cyp or enanthate cycle at 400-500 mg's a week split in 2 shots would get you some of those lb's of muscle you are looking for...it will also undoubtedly gain you some lbs of fat as well...thats why I suggest the diet thing...if you can get the diet down I can almost guarantee better results if and when you gear up.

    Thanks for your help,

Ok diet, I know I need some work.
This is what I ate today:

I work out at 5 am. I eat nothing prior to work out. I get up out of bed, dress and head to gym. I have tried in the past drinking protien but honestly I end up burping throughout the workout. I drink coffee during my work out.

Immediately after work out, 2 scoops of whey protien in 16 ounces of water and an apple.
I drink coffee all morning at work. I'm a plant manager, spend most of my day at a desk.
For lunch, I had left over roast beef and one piece of whole wheat toast and Ice tea
I drank water all afternoon at work.
For dinner I usually eat whatever my wife cooks, tonight it was chicken spegetti with a hot roll and ice tea.

    again, I appreciate your help.

you not eating enough at all. actually your barely eating.. basically starving your body.. tahts why you cant grow. i eat as much as u listed just for breakfast.. u definitly need to eat before you workout..

    u need 300g+ protein a day..

u need to figure out ur bmr

get some macros for a diet like a split meaning 45%protein 40%carb 15% each day thats percentage of total calorie intake..each person different but im giving u an example

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/berardi41.htm <---- calculator.. get that first

I can see some room for improvement here...but in reality if you're usually consuming this much..you'd be dropping weight easily...looks like maybe 100 g's of protein ...carb depletion as well...Bro..look into the diet section and see what the deal is there...
