Its hard to say, might need to bump up your water intake, any other signs? That is a very high amount of protein even in you are cutting.

    Are you cutting or bulking

I am cutting, I am doing high impact training/running for 1 1/2 hours 5 days a week so I am def burning a shit ton of cals. I am running 2 7 min miles every morning another 30 min eliptical at the gym and then 30 min worth of sprinting excercises later in the day. I thought you supposed to have 1.5-2x your weight in protein approx? So i assume the cramping can be from all the running and hydration loss, would taking a potassium supplement help?

For cramping you can bump your water intake, also introduce some type of sports drink to rehydrate with electrolytes that can cause spasms

    Stretching

    Ice

    Relax and apply compression

If the quad is cramping restrict the movement of the quad and contract the hamstring by bending the knee

try a analgesic balms to the muscles and if it happens at night keep the balm and glass of water by your bed if you do happen to wake up

    warm baths

potassium (2 bananas PWO instead of another carbs), magnesium, aspirin consumption, after workout

This may sound funny but also taking a PMS pill like Midol that are designed for cramping.

    Rest

eating properly also, depending on your goals, reason I asked about your protein intake as it is too high, wouldn't go over 1.5grams per lb.

there is a ton of things you could do

yep, look into the protein intake and bump your complex carbs, and healthy fat intake is vital to the process as well

    good luck
