Ok here it goes. I was 165 pounds 2 years ago. I ran about 60 miles a week and swam for 10 hours a week. I was in great shape. Then I started to deploy. Iraq 3 times and afgan once. After my 3rd deployment they put me on meds for PTSD . I started losing weight . About 2 months ago I dropped down to 118 and I just turned 25. The loss didn't come all at once of course it happened over the course of 2 years. Anyway I just took myself off my meds after I saw I hit below the 120 mark. Real eye opener. I have recently gotten back to 140 . I still run but only about 20 miles a week now , and I swim about 5 hours or so a week as well . As far as workouts go , I do pull ups and sit ups and flutterkicks and all those other crazy excersises we marines do. I do go to the gym as well but mainly to help with things that floor excersises take to long to help with.
My diet. I eat about 6000 cal. A day and my duet is mainly tuna chicken rice and veggies. I eat 4 steaks a week lean meat and they are about 24 ounces each. I go though about 8 cans of tuna a day and 8 hard boiled eggs. I eat the same diet as I do back when I trained for marathons.
My question is. My friend/room mate is giving me some test. He said it's 2 months worth roughly. I'll get the info on what kind it is later today or tomorrow. He also said to me that there is a way to take the test in a lower dose and for a longer time tyT is good for people like me who have a high endurance type training method. What I was wondering is. Would this help me gain a bit of weight if I take it like that. Or should I just say screw what I used to do and pound the gym and swim and do a 8-10 week cycle. Feel free to email me as well with your comments. I'm an instructor of sorts so I don't always have time to get on here.Edited
Thanks
