Need some growth and quick!!!
Hi guys, I had a few questions for ya! I'm a female, currently running a cycle of Var (10mg) and I am prepping for my first show in about 11 weeks. Ive been on a cycle now for about 6 weeks, and I just started the Ultimate Diet 2.0 for my contest prep. I have a little shoulder injury that just doesnt seem to go away, and Ive been icing and streching, but nothing really seems to work. My shoulders and back are not proportioned well with my lower half (im quite bottom heavy) and I thought this cycle would add a little size onto my shoulders.
What can I do to stimulate these muscles better? I took a week off shoulders completely to recover, but its still nagging a little. For excersices I concentrate on dumbell presses, and thats pretty much all I can do without irritating it. Not to mention, I think my lats are suffering also....just cant get my baby wings to grow! Any advice?? Thanks!

GH Takes time too work, in your situtation of less than 11 weeks it will do little to nothing.

Your cycle may help you some.11 weeks? Not sure on that one.One of the vets will step in at some point to help you. Now, your shoulder injury,if it is in the front delt,it may be just a pull.If it hurts in the rear, could be a rotor cuff.Had that surgery a couple of times. Not sure your extent or pain level, so it's hard to say.A MRI would tell you more.

the dose is ok you could run it a bit higher anywhere up to 20mg, how long were you gonna run it for?

What exercises do you do for lats and your back as a whole?
Are you doing rotator cuff exercises?
List your shoulder routine if you were not having problems as such?

stick to your compound movments if you want growth throw most of the iso's out stick to bentover rows pull ups if thats not bothering your shoulder also post your routine most back/chest/shoulder and improper biceps can all cause stress to the anterior and post delt

WIDE GRIP PULLUPS WIL WORK BETTER THAN ANY OTHER EXERCISE FOR YOUR WINGS!
uSE A SELF SPOTTING MACHINE AND MAKE IT SO YOU ARE NOT USING A TON OF WEIGHT. THIS WILL TAKE THE SHOULDER PAIN ALMOST COMPLETELY OUT. AND LISTEN BABE, IT IS CONTTEST TIME, ITS PULL OUT ALL THE STOPS TIME!. YOU NEED TO GET SOME LIDECAINE AND I NJECTIN THE AREA THAT HURTS JUST ENOUGH SO THE PAIN WILL NOT INTERFERE WITH THE TRAINING

IF you can't train due to injury of shoulder, you are best to REHAB the shoulder until you can work with it without re injuring it.
You can try to work around it, but that will NOT help it heal. GOOD LUCK

You can use both ice and heat on your shoulder. I would get some glutamine to take, that has helped me in the past besides babying it for a little too.

I was off over a month due to my shoulder and it's still nagging me. I got a cortizone shot that helped a LOT, actually 2 shots in 2 weeks. Also Deca is supposed to help a lot of people with joint pain but be careful it may add some water you dont want so if you do it keep it LOW dose like 100mg. There has also been talk about people using Ginger Root extract to help with general joint pain. I started a few days ago with Ginger Tea and Ginger Root pills but have not noticed much yet...
Keep with the stretching and ice after workout, heat before. Yes also look up rotator cuff exercises on youtube, they are done with LIGHT weight and also help.

I dislocated both my shoulders. I dislocated the right one so bad it now rests lower than the left. If you look close I am lopsided a little. Anyway, I have shoulder problems. I used to get sharp shooting pains randommly (not while working out) throughout the day, especially when I do military press styles of sets. I would also get moderate pain while working out in general. I did do rehab, and I am at my best. I put up with it, but now that I am using Deca I have no problems at all. I have no severe random shooting pains, aches, or moderate pain. This is very nice news to me becuase I wasn't sure how hard I was going to be able to train my shoulders or bench. So, my two cents; deca has helped me alot with my shoulder pain. I'm curious if it will all come back after my cycle.

Im glad to hear so many people have benifited from the Deca . Since I am on HRT after I do my next cycle which will include a deca cycle I'm excited to see what it will do for my joint pain. Even after cycle I may cruise off and on at LOW does to help maintain if I get the pain back.
Keep us updated on how yours goes also. How much longer will you be on cycle with Deca?

Watch out with the cortisone shots the doc don't tell you they help short term but n the long run they eat away at the joint so you end up needing surgery when you may not have.
This is what my pain specialist told me I am glad he is very honest about things when other docs would love to give you tons of cortizone shotsso they could do a surgery on you later on!

Right now Im doignLyle McDonalds UD2, so Im doing 2 depletion workouts using just the shoulder press machine, an some dumbell presses. Then for the tension and power workouts I do the same excersises since those dont bother it much. Very intense training for those who have heard of it. Its just really a nagging pain that refuses to get better! But I will continue to stretch and ice.

Is the pain in the front side, feels like going toward the inside of the joint, but not quite inside?

Damn! Here is the deal, I am not psychic, weird as all hell, all the boys will confirm that but please read and listen to me on this one...
I have helped many women with the lifting/cardio/diet
First go look at that:
http://www.innerbody.com/image/skel21.html
Bursae of The Shoulder
A "bursa" is a fluid-filled sac, lined with synovial membranes, that occurs near a joint. There are several bursae associated with the shoulder joint. The major ones include the "subscapular bursa," located between the joint capsule and the tendon of the subscapularis muscle
Second this one:
http://catalog.nucleusinc.com/genera...it.php?ID=4584
You can see compact the area is... The pain we are talking about is coming from a tendon/ligament area not the cuff or blah blah blah blah quality my posts go down after to many hours of no sleep....
You lifting heavier and heavier is a condition that is very natural, You are running 10mg var and you your muscles are conditioning faster than ever ergo your connective tissue is going to suffer, why? the ratio of the strenght gained by muscles is way off compared to the amount of time it will take the connective to catch up...
STOP DOING PRESSES. Some place along the line your forms is not there, that would be the only other contributing factor.... STOP
dumb bells only, strick form, lower weights, no exceptions...
The fall out if you keep going heavier and heavier is really F'en bad.
