depends, if it's a large vial, an 18ga will shred the stopper after a while. I always draw with a 22 or 23 and shoot with a 25.

I draw and inject with 20g.but that's me.Most people draw with 20's and swap pins out to 23's.I have almost no injection pain.(all glute shots).Make sure there 1 1/2 long.

True, did not think of that, i always preload if its a large vial or bladder, save on pins and stops shreding the stopper.

to small to DRAW with, just get a blunt or filler needle, they are like 16g and draw w no bubbles, then replace with a 23g x1 for pinpoint muscle grps and 23x1.5 for the glutes

I left out the an important part,I use small bottles and ampules. So,I don't worry about tearing up the stoppers.I also will run the bottle under warm water if it is a big bottle. The oil is easier to draw and inject with 23's or 25's .Thanxs to BIG for catching that one.

18 gauge are made for aspirating joints, usually with a 50 cc syringe. You stick a 18 in your ass, it will feel like a 10 penny framing nail!
