Is this Genetics or Past Cycles?
A buddy of mine had stopped training for about 1yr 6months after being a gym rat for a good 5years. Basically family stuff came up. He had numerous cycles under his belt through those years. Recently over the last 4-6weeks he started training again 5days a weeks hitting the gym hard. I have seen noticable changes in his body development in a month. Could this be from muscle memory? I couldnt believe the great progress he is making all natural just using 5-10G creatine/day and protein & of course he is dieting. Any imput would be great!

Yes, it could be muscle memory, some people you can see results week to week.

Yes muscle memory is great. I went 15 years without hitting the gym due to life, death, health issues. I made FAST gains, especially the first 6 months. I had friends ask me if I was taking Steroids and NO I wasnt, not then.

Muscle memory is a trip.I was going to enter my first natural competition in my early 20's.Wife, kids, family, and all the good stuff that makes life what it is came along.Anyways, If I hit the weights hard and run a half decent cycle,"BOOM"!I'm 44 now.Your body remembers.Somehow transcribed into your DNA.And wouldn't it be great if we all had gifted genetics like Arnold S!!!

lotta of it has to do with muscle memory and genetics. also the fact that he was a gym rat for 5 years helps. he probably knows how to train and diet properly. it's like riding a bike u dont really forget.
