Newbie needing help!
Hey guys, thanks in advance for any help you can give me. I'm 42 and began training and taking 200 cc of test cyp. about a year ago. I have not been very dutiful with my cycles as at times I have allowed myself to run out. Lately I have began to train harder and have done much better with my cycle regimen.
I am 6'3" tall and now weigh about 200 to 205, over the last year I have lost about 40 lbs, I have gotten much stronger and more fit but I'm not seeing any gains in muscle mass. Muscle definition looks much better however my arms are only 16">>>up from 15.5". I expected to see much more gains than this. I feel disheartened to say the least and am beginning to question if all the hard work is worth it.
Can some of you please give me some direction on what I'm doing wrong and where I should go from here?

Welcome.
could you post your diet, in detail?
what is your body fat%?
what was it when you started?
did you do a pct at the times when you stopped the test?

I am going to have to say that your diet must be lacking in some way if your muscles are not growing

You don't have the details. How much gear are you using? How often do you hit the gym?Last, whats your diet look like?

BF% seems a little high for your height being 6'3 and weight being 205lbs, but... anyways.
If your BF% is 20, then we need to start with the diet first. Can you post up your daily meals and macros like the example I posted for us?

I actually use a cheap walmart scale to come up with body fat percentage, I thought it was high also.
After reading more in the forum it looks like I am not taking any where near enough test at 200 cc per week.
I have not kept good records of my diet but here is an average day.
Breakfast: Cereal with milk
Snack: Breakfast bar and diet drink
Lunch: Chicken breast, sometimes chicken sandwhich from fast food joint.
Snack: Snickers bar, diet soda
Dinner: Fish or chicken with veggies

I'm sorry I had to laugh a little, seeing snickers bar, and a diet soda. But honestly, that it an absolutely terrible diet, and I'm amazed you even gained half an inch on your arms. You need to completely cut that junk food OUT, and you definitely need ALOT more protein in there if you wanna build any kind of muscle.

Those scales are no good bro, I have one too and it always says im 20% too. There is no way. How can you be 6'3 205 w/ 20% bf. How do you explain those genetics?
Pipelayer, you should be conducting more research like myself. You have only been training for only a year so you have not had much time to master your body. Just get your diet and training together for now.
That diet is for a schoolgirl. You need to be eating alot more. and you need way more protein. Thats probably like 100 grams. You need a minimum of one gram per pound of bw. Lay of the snickers and the fast food too.
Your food is more important than your gear anyday.

You need a diet. Honostly, you should have had a better diet going long before you started cycling.
What are your goals? I suggest you post up what your goals are and what your current diet is in our diet section and let everyone take a look at it, then let some of our diet pros set you up a diet to fit your goals. You will need some real dedication, but it will be worth it in the end as long as you stick to it.
Sound good?
