    Athlete first off-season cycle. HELP!!

    Stats-
    1.89m (6 foot 2)
    105 kg (231 lbs)
    Ill be 22 as of next month.

    I have been training consistently for 4-5 years. And I have gained about 20 kgs in that time.

    I have been lurking on a few forums doing my research, but still have a few questions.

    My situation: I am an athlete playing for the B side of a professional team. At the moment I dont get paid, or tested. However, that will change when I make the top side. I was looking at doing my first cycle of Test-E at 500mg a week.

    Now my problem is, I dont want turn into a freakish monster in that time. Otherwise my trainers and coaches will notice and think something is up. I want to get up to around 110 kg, and lose a lil fat in the process.

    Is shortening my cycle (maybe just do a 6 week) or lowering the dose (250mg??) an option? Or are these the results I am likely to see?

    I am sure you guys understand where Im coming from. If I do this in the off season I should be clean come season time (we only get tested in season). I just wanna get the gains, without raising eye brows.

    P.S If I have a solid PCT will I keep all my gains? (size and strength). That will also look suspicious if I get massive then shrink. Peace

    Well you you wont blow up that much if you keep your diet clean and use an AI. When people suddenly become massive and raise eye brows its usually from water retention. Limit that and you might add 6-7kg of solid muscle and it will mean you wont go up and down when you come off the cycle due to losing water retention. The only problem is in your pre season im sure you will be doing alot of fitness work and if its too soon after your bulk you will lose alot of it.

    Perfect scenario i think is if you were to do 8 weeker on just prop that way you will have longer to maintain the gains before your pre season also you wont lose as much during pct of an 8 week cycle than a 12 week cycle. HOWEVER prop for a first cycle is not a good idea as youl have to pin atleast eod and for a newb youd get sick of it real quick.

    But if you use test e for only 6 weeks like you mentioned or even 8 you wouldnt reap all the benefits because it wouldnt kick in for 3 of 4 weeks anyway.

    people will hate this suggestion but i have a mate that only runs tbol/var cycles and he gains pretty well on a 6 weeker of them but its all orals so thats not a recommended cycle either.

    just some things to think about

    Lets say I did an 8 week cycle of test e, what would the likely outcome be? I just dont like the idea of pinning every other day.

    What is AI? Still pretty new, so just learning all the lingo.. haha

    Also, what is the usual time frame after a bulking phase to begin cardio? Can you not do any cardio during your cycle? Im a very active person..

    Anybody else have some input?

    Goal - Reach 110 kg
    Lose 2-4 kg of fat.
    Not cause any suspicion amongst Team mates, trainers and coaches.

    I gained 13 kg in my last off season (natrually), so if I have another decent weight gain they wont be terribly shocked. But if I go from 105 kg to 120 kg, they will definitley be concerned.

    wanna lose 9 lbs of fat while gaining 12lbs lean mass? not going to happen in one cycle. steroids arent a magic drug. if you are afraid of getting 'too big', then you probably havent used before.

    agree! tbol/var combo gives pretty good results if its all orals that u're looking at.

    just to shed a little light on the subject the norm protocol is a 10-12 weeker of test e or c 400-500mgs and if you dont mind frequent injects then an 8 weeker of prop 100mgs eod wait 2 weeks 4 the long esthered tests to clear (test e or c ) then start nolva /clomid pct , 4 prop its 3 days wait then pct .....

    no one here will tell you run an oral only cycle BUT !!!!! many oral onlys have been run and ran successfully var, tbol,dbol,winnie etc ..... jst to clarify i am not in any way telling you to do this it is not a good idea bad 4 liver oh the list goes on ........... an ai is an aromataze inhibitor estrogen related , you dont know this yet so you need to do some reading and start asking a whole lotta questns regarding pct ai's, cycle lengths etc etc .....

    there is a few ways to tackle your prob but you need more education re gear in general ...

    dont wanna sound like comin across harsh there bro but fact is your playin wth your hormones .... i call em 3 h's heart health hormones not to mention your balls sex drive liver prostate hairline ...relax im just scaring ya all true though ...

    Which brings me to an oral only cycle. The thing I dont uderstand is why is Dbol by itself a big no no, yet it is commonly recommended to use with test for as a cycle?? How does adding a test injection make it any better for your liver?

    I hear you on the education, I have a basic grasp of things, Im just trying to get down to the nitty gritty stuff.

    I know bro, it doesnt scare me.. If I approach this well educated and without the mentality of more is better Im sure I will be safe..

    dbol by itself will blow u up full of water then when your done u will keep maybe and i stress maybe 2-3 kgs but u woulda put on like 15kgs , this also isnt good 4 u and your situation last thing u need as u said is to look swole then all of a sudden shrink they will be onto u quick smart !!!!!!! dbol concerns is just not the liver high bp, severe muscle pumps, cramps etc the reason they run it with a test is coz u run the dbols for 1st 4 weeks say 25-35mgs/ed u do this whilst u wait 4 the long esthered tests to kick in (usually about 3-5 weeks ) so your gaining from day 1 finish the dbols test kicks in till week 10-12 then wait 2 weeks for ya pct nolva20/20/20/10/10 and clomid 150/100/50/50 simple.......

    if i were u and in your situation id run a 375-400mg/ew test e or c eat clean as fuk as to limit fat/bloatand possibly add var at end for 4 weeks 50mgs ed but not a neccessity should yeild you some nice lean gains (gear only assists you - it will all depend on yopur diet!!!!) ill have a stab in the dark and say roughly 8-12kgs if you eat right !!!!!!!! this is just a generalization every1 is diff so dont take these kgs as gospel !!!!!!

    Thanks man, I have done another thread and am thinking of doing a tbol or tbol/var cycle as even 8 - 12 kgs is prob to much and I read tbol gains are more gradual...
