How to prevent HTPA permanent damage
Hello,
1.You can just lower your dosages, take about 100mg of test e or cyp a week, or any other compound u want, for about 3 months, and then start up on a cycle again. This is called a cruise.
2. You can also run your pct while running an aas that doesnt cause total hpta shutdown. such as primo but preferably var, or also hgh. This is called a bridge.
3.You can decide that you don't think your body naturally produces enough testosterone , and plan on taking hrt doses of testosterone at around 200mg a week. Note that this usually becomes a permanent addition to your life.
I decided for first option, how long can I do this witout permanent HTPA damage? How much HCG I have to use with?Last edited by pepous; 08-19-2009 at 06:04 AM.

primo and var will eventually shut down ur HPTA, ALL STEROIDS DO!!!!!!!!!!!!,
its PCT and after that ur HPTA begins to recover after being shut down during a cycle
so number 2 is just WRONG
as for ur question, u cannot determine how long u can run steroids without causing permanant HPTA damage, however 12 week cycles are usually the trend, but this doesnt mean u might be the unlucky rare few that damage the HPTA
so theirs no real time frame, however alot of people can run steroids all their life and recover their HPTA after discontinueing them, this can take time though, some a year and more
i dont c why u would use HCG , its best left for PCT since itll allow ur testies to recover, when ur running anabolics its pretty much useless since the anabolics will ahve a more prominant effect in shutting down HPTA then HCG will have a chance in recovering it

When you introduce excess Testosterone into the body there is an overabundance of androgen receptors of the hypothalamus and this creates an over-stimulated environment. Your body as a natural balancing act so when there is an excess Test environment there is a decrease or total shutdown in the GnRH release which means your testicles have nothing to do because the lack of GnRh which also means no LH or FSH release. Which is the negative feedback loop occurring, this can occur with very small amounts of Test when introduced to the body, thinking you can use a small amount of Test to stop shutdown or suppression is wrong
