Same amount of time as tetanus shot I would imagine ?
Doctors will have conflicting answers . Employer gives free flu vaccinations . I got pretty sick . Went to doctor and explained . They said I must have been sick when I received shot . Another said small % of people get sick from shots and not to take again . You are instructed to avoid vaccinations if you have egg allergies or problematic with previous shots .
If you are feeling ok , I would go about my day as normal .

i had the flu a couple months ago pretty bad lost about 10 lbs.
