    Exhaustion, brainfog and body aches

    Please HELP me

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2 1/2 years ago palm beach rejevenation ran my bloodwork and concluded that I was both test and hgh deficient.

test serum was around 370L ng/dL

free test (direct) was around 14L pg/mL

They prescribed me test enanthate 300mg a wk and 2 iu's of hgh

After six months of use i could not afford the hgh anymore.

taking the test without the hgh made it tough to sleep. My local dr. prescribed me some ambien. throughout the next 1 1/2 i would alternate between enanthate and cypionate occasionally they would send me some deca. I was taking anatrozole and hcg as recommended by my consultant.

about 9-10 mos ago he told me take test and hcg together then take hcg for a month when coming off the test and then go back on the test and hcg for 3 mos. and hcg by itself for a month then back on test and hcg.

I did this for two cycles then i went off all gear 3 1/2 mos ago. About three or four weeks later I began to feel the exhausted, body aches and bad brain fog. For two mos. everyday from the time I woke up until the time I went to bed these symtoms persisted. I got bloodwork done, thyroid come back ok.

    test serum 158 L ng/dL
    free test (direct) 3.3L pg/mL
    igf-1 271

The rejuvenation center said my low test was causing these symtoms and told me to immediately go back on test and in 4wks i would feel fine.

i took 500mg the first week
and 400 mg for 2 weeks
and so far 200mg the this week

I still feel terrible with all my symptoms continuing with maybe a 20 % improvement.

My family dr. is setting up an appointment with an endocrinologist. He said my hormonal axis is messed up and my pituatary is not communicating with the testes to make test. ( this opinion was based on a recent blood test.)

Family doc thinks i should get off all gear and deal with the symptoms until my body starts producing test again. rejuvenation center thinks i should continue taking test and i will eventually get better.

Please please help. I have no quality of life. Wish I never started this stuff.

Man that sucks, seems like the clinic wants you to continue so they can profit while your family doctor actually as your best interests in mind.

Post your full bloodwork with ranges so we can evaluate it. What was their logic in taking you off? Were they trying some half-hearted attempt at re-starting your HPTA? Would like to know your LH/FSH levels in particular. 500mg then 400mg is way too much for TRT. It's a cycle (front loading maybe.) Even 200mg is high end TRT. Did they ever prescribe you an aromatase inhibitor as you can be converting too much T to estrogen.

What is your age, weight and bodyfat level? Lifestyle plays into this.

Remember, clinics are out to make money. The more they sell you the more they make. Why deca? I would doubt you had a need for HGH but need to see your BW to be sure. Your doctor stating your hormonal axis is messed up. Well, if that opinion is based on when you were on test then of course it's not producing test as your in HPTA shutdown. If it's based on BW when you were off it would still probably read poorly as they did not do a proper PCT in effort to re-start you.

Your initial test level was low but we've seen ton's worse here. At that point is when you needed a good doc to lead you in the right direction and determine why it's where it is via complete BW. There are ways to try and improve your test levels without going on TRT.

So, if you can post BW from pre-therapy as well as after if would be great. Include ranges.

Be sure to start reading all the stickies at the top of the Hormone Repla***ent Forum, which is really where this should be posted BTW. Wealth of knowledge there and will help to get you up to speed on what your going through. There are also links there to finding physicians. Just because they have a title does not mean they know TRT. Call the endo's office and ask a nurse what the doc's normal treatment is or if he specializes in hormone therapy. Don't wast your time.

    Welcome and good luck!

Maybe admin can move this for you......
