Question Nowhere else to put this BUT HERE...

Ok so I am MID-CYCLE... and I am at the Gym tonight... It's SHOULDER DAY... I do my typical warm-up... Rotator Cuff exercise... and lightweight side laterals + front raises + rear raises Just to get the blood flowing.. ya know??

Ok so I am all warmed up.. Blood's Pumping... Im READY !!

It's time for Seated DB Shoulder Presses... 1st ok, Perfect even, 2nd set- Heavier.. still going GREAT... 3rd set- Instant Pain upon Hoist up to shoulders, i brush it off... finish my set... but at this point I can no longer hold the weight.. I slam the DB's to the floor... apologize for the commotion... Yah now my shoulder is SCREAMING !!! I coulda sworn I tore my rotator cuff.. so I grabbed just some Light 50lb'ers and try to do shoulder shrugs... Nope Not happening...

At this point I am freaking out.. every scenario is racing through my head... Anxiety attack... BANG... So I make the appropriate decision to call it a day...

I figure Hey why don't I go stretch it out on the Elliptical... because with moving arms and such.. So I hop on.. throw it up to a good level 10 out of 20... and start hammering on it... pushing and pulling with just my ONE Bad Arm.. to try and work the kink out ... I know I SHOULD have left well enough alone.. called it a day and went home...

But after 15 minutes... it feels about 95% better... I am happier than A PIG in Sh1t at this point.. so I hop off and decide to call it a day anyways.. Pack up my stuff and head home...

When I arrive home, my shoulder feels like NOTHING even happened to it.. I am stoked and since I have some dumbbells and weights at home I decide to slam out the rest of my shoulder day... I do it without even a TWINGE of PAIN and even as I am writing this it is fine...

    I don't know what I did but I don't really care now it's all better !!!

    OK STORY TIME OVER....

Now here is why I think this thread deserves to be in this here part of the FORUM...

What would I do.. MID-CYCLE... On Test PROP 100mgs ED and Proviron 50mgs ED if I had sustained an injury that sidelined me from doing an UPPER BODY WORKOUT for say.. 1 to 2 weeks but still would have been capable of fully performing a FULL LEG WORKOUT + cardio without an issue???

Would I discontinue my cycle?? Or keep going?? I am on TRT so I don't ever have to PCT and if I were to immediately discontinue the PROP it would slam to the bottom before my CYP had a chance to kick in.. so what do I do??

Continue if something like that happens??

    Discontinue??

Lower My Dosage for the duration of the injury??

    What would I do??

Typically before I would just cycle off and do a PCT and wait until the injury was healed and then when it was all set .. Go on again...

But now I feel things are different because of my TRT and how I have to start it 2 weeks before the end of my cycle, just so when I come off.. THE CYPIONATE is running strong in my system !!

I know this is something I should know the answer to but ummm I don't really get injured... and I DIDN'T GET INJURED THIS TIME EITHER.. but it was definitely a CLOSE CALL !! So in preparation of this EVER happening again.. God forbid and KNOCK ON WOOD.. I am prepared to know what to do...

Thanks for the Input BRO's !!

Torn Rotator cuff would likely take you out alot longer than a week or two. There is nothing you can do if you get injured just end the cycle and get healthy before trying to go back to the gym.

Gear aside, id go to the doc and get it checked out bro. Could be something minor or big, who knows until u get it checked out right? After you get it checked out im sure the decision will come much easier on what to do bro. If its something major and you take just a week or two off, stay on cycle doin just legs, then after 2 weeks hit upper body again then bam, it hits again, then what are you gonna do? See what i mean. Just sayin, if its serious enough to create a thread over it, then id go see and doc and let him know what happened and make sure you get an mri done on it. Until then, id stay on cycle and hit lower body til the results came back.

I pulled something in my shoulder the other day unracking the 250# I need to use on the final sets of behind the neck presses. The rack that the weight sits on is to low and at a weird angle and it is hard to pick it up. especially when there is no spotter around. I made it through my workout though and it was leg day the next day so that helped. I actually took Sunday and Today off to help rest it. there is no sense in straining it

Well I created A thread for a JUST IN CASE thing... I know I am all set because I came home and COMPLETED My whole workout.. Here at HOME.

Not a TWINGE of Pain, Still NO PAIN... I just think that I might have over stretched something... or just moved my ARM in the wrong way and my BODY was like HEY DUDE DONT DO THAT !!

So more of a Pre-emptive strike in case I EVER DO REALLY INJURE MYSELF...

I have actually torn my rotator cuff before and know the feeling, the pain, the agony, the horror...

This wasn't like that... there wasn't a POP or anything like that... just a pain.. for a little bit.. then went away.. NEVER to surface again...

I just want to make double sure what to do... if I DO injure myself.... ya know... I am prepared to know what to do with my cycle...

I would say relax a couple days , Not do anything in the gym other than cardio .

Then go back at it light with big stretch secessions .

You might get some good gains by taking a few day rest . think of it that way .

I know exactly WHAT contraption you are speaking of brotha !! Yah as luck would have it my Legs day follows my shoulder day, so I get to do legs tomorrow, then as even more luck would follow its my obligatory day off !!! So yah even though it doesn't hurt.. I still am Giving it technically like 72 hours of rest... 24 hours would be at 4 tomorrow... 48 hours would be at 4pm on my day off and then 72 hours at 4pm on what I call ARMS day.. so I TECHNICALLY won't be using my shoulder that much... so ok we are working with 96 hours before i'll really be taxing my shoulder again.. BACK DAY....AND IT APPEARS to be fine anyways.. I havent taken anything.. now pain meds at all.. so... IM good...

Read what I have outlined above brotha man.. I am technically giving my shoulder a rest for 96 HOURS !! What do you think??

I mean I like your idea too.. I might actually do that, and just extend my cycle for an extra 10 DAYS.. I was only gonna go 80 days but I have enough Prop for 90... so why not just rest up and run for 90... no harm in that at all !!
