how soon? my DOMS has been out of control lately but im only 2.5 weeks into a test-e only cycle

You could be over training, you really shouldnt be getting sore if you have been training with frequency.
AAS will decrease to some extent. Of course if you havent been working out it will really do nothing for you. To be more correct AAS is associated with a decrease in the duration of DOMS. Its main function is that it helps speed up recovery.

I'm not overtraining. I know what overtraining feels like and this isnt it.
my workouts have been insanely intense since I started the test cycle but they have always been pretty intense where i go to failure on my last set of every exercise (and i really mean FAILURE). That's just the way I am in the gym
so youre saying I should still have DOMS but it doesnt last as long? i trained legs yesterday and they are feeling pretty sore. I'm curious to see how they will feel tomorrow

Possibly, Like I said you really shouldnt be getting that sore. Also it takes a bit of time for the effects of steroids to take full effect in the body. So you may not be benefiting from the increase in recover time between workouts yet.

I wouldn't say the amount of pain is less but the duration of it should be.

You really should not be getting much outa ur test cycle till week 4 or 5 (as several others have said to yah in other posts) with test e.
I know dbol has helped a good bit for me on muscle soreness (they do get sore as hell but only for a day or so, well not including the "back pumps", as they are pretty constant if I do a lot of walking or bending.)

Not a whole lot, I know I'm not feeling anything from the test yet (We started about the same time I think, I started it on the 7th)
Maybe a bit more horny, but thats about it.

Age is also a factor.
I've been training most of my life.
DOMS has always been there, but more prevalent with age.
Someone said BCAA's help.
Good advice.
Also potassium levels can effect this.
I drink a least a gallon of water ed.
Sounds like it could be a deficiency somewhere.
Try drinking a high electrolyte drink when working out.
Sometimes it's a simple thing.
