    Steroids after operation

    hi guys, i just came out of hospital and can train again in 8-10 weeks starting slowly, does anyone know if i can cycle steroids after have a splenectomy? (having the spleen removed) im not sure whether this will effect the body or the way the body will react? thanks for any info

    Why would you want to cycle steroids when you have just had an operation and have not been training for weeks and will only be able to train slowly when you are able to!

    just wondering for when i can train again, will not cycle straight away

    I am not sure, I think you would need to speak to your doctor on that one.

    My medical backround does not include medschool...... but I don't think your spleen has much to do with your hormones. Spleenectomy's are pretty common especially with mono patients because they can burst.

    I would definately ask your doctor - I wouldn't forsee there being a problem but your doc should know for sure. Definately not something to chance.....
