Vicodin and Test...

I had a vasectomy this last Wednesday and I'm a little under halfway of my 12 week Test C cycle. The Dr gave me some vicodin for the pain. Is it ok to take during my cycle? My cycle is Test C 600mgs a week 12 weeks, dbol 40mgs ed/4 weeks and Test P 75mgsed/4 weeks. Thanks...

yeh your fine!! I have ben on opiates / Pain meds for years and have never had an issue... Not sure about the orals I recently had some issues with orals and the Methadone I take but as far as just test injectable.. you are G2G

Wow, I would be a zombie if I took 30mg of vicodin a day!

Normally if someone is on Methadone that they have a rx for, they usually get drug tested fairly often and aren't usually allowed to take other narcotic pain meds. To my knowledge the purpose of methadone is to help those that have had drug addictions. It takes the place of the drug they used to take.

OP you should be fine taking the Vicodin with the test, just don't overdo it

Methadone is also used and prescribed by docs for moderate to severe pain. Its not uncommon to have people that have back problems to be on methadone.

Exactly!! But it's dosed differently...

I MYSELF am in a Methadone Clinic for DRUG ADDICITION... MY dose of daily METHADONE is exponentially higher than that of someone receiving METHADONE for back PAIN...

And it gets a bad rap because people think it is just subbing one addiction out for another.. but methadone clinics are more than just drinking a cup of methadone every morning.. alot and i mean A LOT of treatment goes into it.. YES Methadone is a drug, yes when it is abused improperly it can and will kill you.. BUT SO WONT EVERY SINGLE OTHER DRUG OUT THERE !! My Doc told me that if ASPIRIN and ACETAMINOPHEN were to be developed today instead of when they were... then they would have either A)NEVER BEEN PASSED BY THE FDA or B)Would have been prescription ONLY.... Not OTC like they are NOW. Shows ya how dangerous some stuff really is...

I am a very strong advocate for METHADONE. Of course I will not be on it forever, but I am NO DIFFERENT A HUMAN BEING than I am anyone else just because I take Methadone daily.. im tired of the stigma surrounding METHADONE, There really needs to be MORE education on it...

Yeah you should be fine. I take 30 mgs of lortab (hydrocodone) per day and it hasnt seemed to affect my progress any...it actually helps me through grueling squat sessions...milk thistle would be good as would be plenty of water.

Im on METHADONE also, and I take Orals, from time to time, and INJECTS on a regular.. im unaffected.. why? Because Methadone doesnt affect the liver...

Vicodin = different story...

it contains acetaminophen.. the ABSOLUTE WORST THING FOR YOUR LIVER.. Anything over 4000mgs can put u into immediate LIVER FAILURE and without a transplant, YOU DIE. You would be astonished at how many DEATHS there are every year due to accidental/purposeful overdoses on TYLENOL... IT'S STAGGERING...

If you are going to take the vicodin, i'd stop the orals... just to be 100 percent safe...
and don't go Over your prescribed dose... seriously

you can always do a cold water extraction, and take the acetaminophen outta it...
