Good question, as I have wondered this myself! I have never given a shot sub q and don't really feel comfortable doing so...so if I can inject IM I would probably go that route. Any reason not to go IM?

sub q is so easy. it is painless in every aspect.
it is a simple 2 second act.

i would go sub q over IM everyday of the week and twice on sundays.

Instructions that come with it say IM only, but my Doc said Sub Q is just as effective. I've done both, went back to sub q, much easier, less painful...right in my belly. From what I undersstand the absorbtion rate is different but both ways get the same results.

Correct you are. I still preferred the Sub Q tho, much smaller pin, piece of cake. IMO

I injected my last vial IM and clinched my teeth every time I poked my thigh. I hate self inflicted pain...

The HCG? From IM to Sub Q or vice versa? Sure you can, like stated above, mjust a different absorbsion rate. And less pain with Sub Q...
