Which forum would have information about injectable B12? Thanks.

I guess it would depend on what you are wanting to know about it.
Where to get it, how much to use, how often to use, what type of injection, etc.
100 iu's twice a week mon.-thurs.
Sub Q injection. 3in. on either side of your bellybutton
Where to get it? Your on your own on this one..
u can ask ur doc. maybe
i kno in canada we just ask our doc and they just prescribe it. just gotta tell him y..
Hmm I have been reading some old threads on this and most of them talk about doing it inter muscular instead of Sub Q
Whats the deal? Which is better?
When you give a shot Sub-Q, basically you are injsting into the fat deposit fust under the skin....this gives the body longer to absorb what you are giving....
but optimally you would want to do a IM injection of B-12. Warning, this stuf is thick and painful....LOL

How painful are we talking?Originally Posted by SniperDoc;4***601
Painful? But this is what people use to cut other things to make them less painful.Originally Posted by SniperDoc;4***601
It's been a LONG time since I had a B12 shot, years but it was only one ever few years LOL Obviously stupid of the doc to do if he wasnt going to keep it up and I didnt know any difference.
Hmmmm Im thinking if you do it ever day it's best to do sub q maybe?
100 iu, isn't that a whole slin pin? That seems like a lot sub q everyday.
I think it should only be 1000 mcg so only .10 cc, not 1 cc
I hope. I could not see injection 1cc every day..![]()
Sounds right to meOriginally Posted by lovbyts;4***641
Actually above he was talking about 100 iu 2x a week so that might be 1cc in that regardsOriginally Posted by Researcher;4***649
1ml (water) = 1cc (water)
1ml (oil) ~ 1cc (oil) (~ denotes approximately equal to)
So if the B12 is 1000 mcg per 1 ml like a lot of it:
it is 1cc every day.![]()
Lovbyts,
I personally don't use B-12... But i do know that if you give 1cc IM it is normally painful, unless you have been using for years, and have built up a tollerant to the pain....
This is just my opinion....Obviously you know more about this stuff than I. (No disrespect or sarcasm) As you notice i am not giving advice from a Juicer, but more from the medical side.....
Stand bye....checking my books now....

Ive taken it several times over the years due to sciatic nerve issues. 3 ruptured/herniated disks
Also the dosage you mention is a LOT lower than I have read on the net and been suggested here
This site is so we can all learn from each other and your advise/knowledge is appreciated.

Vitamin B12 functions as a methyl donor and works with folic acid in the synthesis of DNA and red blood cells and is vitally important in maintaining the health of the insulation sheath (myelin sheath) that surrounds nerve cells. The classical vitamin B12 deficiency disease is pernicious anaemia, a serious disease characterized by large, immature red blood cells. It is now clear though, that a vitamin B12 deficiency can have serious consequences long before anaemia is evident. The normal blood level of vitamin B12 ranges between 200 and 600 picogram/milliliter (148-443 picomol/liter). Although deficiency is far more common than excess when it comes to vitamin B12 status cases have been reported where blood levels exceeded 3000 picograms/milliliter. Such high levels may be caused by bacterial overgrowth as outlined in the article Vitamin B-12 Overload
i wanted to inject something. just to make sure i know how to inject.Originally Posted by *El Diablo*;4***684
i know b12 is important but what benefits does it have for a person without deficiency?
some claim it helps in fat loss and some say it makes you more energetic which is a good thing for training or when on a diet. but i did not feel anything even with 4x1000mcg amps a week.(it is cheap around here)
