liver protectant

Hey bros, I've been out of the game for almost 3yrs and now I'm back at it and I need some info on milk thistle. If I remember correctly the rule of thumb is 1000mg/day. I bought some and the directions say to take 1 pill 3 or 4 times per day, each pill being 1000mg. Is this much necessary or is it possible we have not been taking enough? Just so you know I am taking phs and I want to protect myself, also I am having back pumps so bad there is no words in the English language to describe them. Thanks for the input guys!

Since you're in the US, it should be very easy to obtain "Liv-52" supplement for liver support. It's recommended in the "Anabolics" books and reading up on it, it has a lot of research to support it.

If you go with Milk Thistle, I would just follow its on-bottle recommendations.

LIV-52 all the way. No evidence supporting milk thistle and yes a few thousand mg is too much. can be counter productive actually

Ive been looking for Liv-52 but have not found it in the local stores yet but then I always forget when Im at a real vitamin store

Liv 52 is called Livercare in the U.S. You can get it at any Vitamin Shoppe. Just like everyone else says - it is the best.

If you are looking for some hardcore liver protection (in addition to Liv 52 or in place of) also consider Synthetek's Synthergine. That stuff literally reverses liver damage brought on by drugs (gear, antibiotics, etc.)

Another hardcore one (Hepatitis patients use this one) is Essentiale Forte.

Thanks for all the help bros! Also is there anything that I can do to alleviate these back pumps? In years past I have done a-bombs and d-bol, but even d-bol did not give me back pumps to the point that I had to stop my workouts. I have upped my water intake, but this is not helping.
