pain and swelling, infection after shot?

My doctors orders have been to shoot sub-q testosterone and this has left a big lump then has swelled up under my skin and painful when i touch it. I have gone to the doctors and he said it was an infectiong and i got the medicine Cephalex. What are some of your experiences with getting infections and using anti-biotics to reduce the swelling and cure it. how long does it take usually to go away and who has used the medicine Cephalex.

I've used Cephalex often. Unfortunately, once an infection is in place, anti biotics will not remove a "steroid " infection. Questions: How long after injection did u notice lump?
is it red? white? sore to touch? is it warm? is it in the "exact" spot where you injected?
When I had my surgery 4 years ago on an abscess, it started out as a hard lump, then it ate away at my muscle beneath, then it turned soft and started to puss and discharge.
Then the surgery. Now i am left with a welt on my delt that looks deformed. My point...... Take it seriously, be agressive!! and this is coming from someone who has experienced lumps, discharge , surgery, and then Cephalex!!
