Cool Infected injection site, is gear to blame?

So long story short, my source is in jail on unrelated charges and in order to continue my cycle I had to grab off another guy, I met him through a friend I have known for a while and he should be good. I was doing test C but all I could get was sust 250 so I grabbed that and did my first injection on friday evening. Fast forward to today, injection site is big time swollen, all the way from midle of delt to top of biceps and over to my collar bone a little bit, went to ER and doc gave me a script for some hardcore antibiotics and told me if it doesn't improve they will have to freeze it and drain it. She said it's not an abscess yet but its definitely infected.

I take all precautions when I do my injections, wash hands, use alcohol, never reuse needles etc.. On my last test C injection into the same spot (right delt), it was big and swollen and a little bit painful for about a week, but then it went away. and it wasn't nearly as swollen as it is now. So I am wondering, is it this new gear I used that caused the infection, or is it possible that there was already something there from my last injection there (about 1 week ago) and this newest injection just aggravated it and made it worse?

Also have pics of the gear I used in the pictures forum if anyone can confirm/deny legitimacy for me. Thanks a ton!

you shouldn't get big and swollen injection sites from any gear, hard to say if it was the c or the sust. sounds like you might have aggravated the area already bothered by the earlier shot.

I know the C was good because I've made crazy strength and size gains in the month i've been taking it, and lots of friends have taken it, so do you think the sust is probably good then? and is it a bad idea to switch from c to sust in middle of cycle like that? thanks a lot guys

switching between the 2 types of gear would be fine, not optimum but it's all you had to work with.
I would definitely be worried about whatever caused the infection, and stay away from that spot.

what size needles are you using?

i had a big lump on my delt once after injecting with a 5/8" needle. It dissipated within a week, and i just recently injected some b12 into the same delt. I had my Dr. check it out and he said i should use at least 7/8" pins or 1" optimally because I had a lot of muscle there. he said that i may have not gotten all the way into the muscle, or deep enough which caused it to get a lump.

hope everything works out for ya.

i use 23gauge an inch long, usually put it in all the way or like 8/10 of the way in. guess i'm going to have to learn to inject somewhere else, whats another good place thats easy to self injectÉ quads would be pretty easy i imagine

why are you having to grab gear to FINISH your cycle? Why dont you have ALL your gear and PCT on hand before you start your cycle?

Yes this is not an answer to your question. Yes your gear could be bad, home brew, infected or whatever.

Because people are uneducated when it comes to running an effective pct, and on cycle support. They get the test and are like highschool girls waiting on a justin timberlake show. I see people ALL THE TIME asking where to get pct when they are about 8 weeks into cycle. When I give advice to friends here I make them get the pct and liver support first.

I know the pain of having gear on hand and not using it. Every day for the past week I have been staring at hcg , norma test e and dbol . I will not touch it for another week or so because I am waiting on some sterile vials. Maybe pct directions should be included on some products. It is on most prohormones

I discovered this site and the wealth of information and experts it has after I started the steroids . I was just told by the guy who sold it to me, who is a friend that I've known for years, that he can get the shit and I should take x and y and then when I'm getting close to end of cycle he can sell me anti-estrogens. Unfortunately after I started cycle first time, I had to stop because I broke my collar bone, then I get thrown in jail for 3 months for unrelated incident. Then when I get back out and start cycle second time, he gets thrown in jail before I can grab PCT from him. This was all before I found this site and realized how stupid I was being.
