hi guys, im new on here so excuse any potentialy stupid questions. im 40 yrs old and have been lifiting weights for a long time. i am stronger than the average bear, weigh 20st but not the best weight if im honest haha. i have taken three courses in the last 12 years or so, orals twice and orals/injectables once and got fantastic results. (strangely, i have never reached the strength levels i had when i was young, dumb and natural haha!!)..its been about 2 yrs since my last course and i would like to ask, what would be the best course to add more strength, power and good muscle mass.
i do a lot of cardio, run 4-6 miles monday-friday, and am currently employing an all over weights programme 3 times a week (deadlifts, squats, flat and incline bench, behind neck shoulder press and front press on machine and two arm exercises varied) and twice a week i 'fill in' with the smaller exercises..more of a maintenance programme than anything. i cycle one week 4-6 reps, one week 8-12 reps. i can deadlift 240kg for 5 reps, bench 140kg for 8-10 reps and squat 220kg for 5 reps or so....these numbers are way below my 'glory days' figures from days gone past haha, but hell, im getting old. in the past year or so i have been benching 180kg for 6 reps and squatting more, but i have found that my cardio/running programme and subsequent quick weight loss have impacted my strength on these exercises??
last times i was on gear, i got good results, but as i said, im now 40yrs old and really feel i have never reached my physical potential. i dont wanna be a bodybuilder, just compliment my training , inc cardio, mma and boxing that i do, with a manageable course that will, hopefully, enable me to maintain my weight, or lose a little..(iv been as light as 18st and as heavy as 25st in the past, so a more solid 19/20st would be my aim...) whilst promoting explosive power but not to too much detriment too my cardio....im not to stuck on weight, it can go up or down, but i want to build quality, explosive muscle
having trained so long, i have access to any of the normal steroids available, but i just dont know enough about the whys and wherfores of various combinations....the course i took last time was basic deca and test combined with oxy and i got fantastic results, but would like to go one beter this time with a little help and knowledge from you guys.... cheers, gbn
