    Injection mishap?

I injected super test 450 and deca (only a ml all together), but I may have done it a little high on the glute. I usually get a hard spot at the injection site for a few days after due to the thickness of the supertest, but on this injection that hard spot went all the way up to my lower back. Now I have what looks like a 3in round pocket of liquid that hurts to the touch...it's been a few days now and each day it gets slightly better but i guess my main question would be..did i not inject it deep enough? if all that test can sit underneath my skin like that to the point of it being visible it that bad? I used a 1 1/2 in needle 23g syringe.

You may not have injected deep enough, or injected too fast which can cause hematoma or bruising.

If it's subsiding I would just not inject in that glute again until it's fully gone.

Try to aim better next time and don't worry it happens sometimes.
