Keep it in a cool-warm semi-dark place. Somewhere away from direct sunlight, and away from extreme cold/heat.
Also, do NOT keep it in your house. The expiration date should be printed on the gear

Keeping out of house is overkill.

You must keep in a treasure chest!!! There should be an exp date and lot number on it. If not I would question your source.

Well, some gyms have lockers where you can bring your own personal lock, and not have to provide a spare key. Gym locker is justa simple suggestion. Sure, your first cycle might be fine at your house, but with family being there, I do not think that it is worth the risks. If you are in the military, keep it in your car. They never search your car, unless you are coming in and out of the gate. So when you are home for the night, take it to the car

do dogs ever smell for test or similar compounds? If not, then you can easily just stash it in the house. I honestly doubt if there really are "steroid sniffing dogs" that they would smell anything other than test or similar compounds.
