21 or 22 gauge pins are fine for glute shots. The smaller the pin=less pain while injecting thats why people like 23, 24,25 pins. You could use the 21, 22 for drawing then switch to a smaller pin to shoot.
yeah oil flows great through 25ga..... i dont see any point in using a bigger pin.. you have to inject slowly anyways
right on thank you very much guys
i always use 23g 1.5s for my glutes and such....
i'd imagine 21g is a pretty thick needle....
I only use 25g for shoulders and other smaller muscles. It's alot easier and quicker to inject through the 23g needles
it's always best to inject slowly to give the oil time to absorb.
whatever bro, hammer it in as quickly as you like
just doesn't make any sense to me....especially seeing as we're injecting into the muscle belly....a vein would mean immediate uptake....but the absorption in a network where only very small blood vessels are present has to be a process that happens on a longer timescale...just sayin
I inject slow...
I use a 23g - the last batch of test I had was a little thick and was a PITA to inject through a 25g.....
I also inject slowly......

^^^ No kidding.
i dont think big was referring to the blodstrean absorbing i thing he was referring to the muscle absorbing maybe so much gear doesnt come back out i shoot slow with a 21 i just cant stan drawing with anything less that 22
the only concern with drawing with a larger pin is that you can start to tear up the stopper and end up with bits of rubber in your gear. with 10cc vials it's not that big of a risk, but with larger vials you could shred the stopper before the gear is used up.
