    Exclamation possible abscess - help

Alright, I think i have a possible abscess on my hands...

im shooting prop, and swelling is pretty normal... but this time I feel the injection site is a little warm..

There is not discoloration, and no abnormal pain (slight tenderness but its normal with prop).. just the injection site feels abit warmer than the rest of my thigh...

so... what can I do to be proactive... if it is an abscess can I do anything to prevent it from getting worse?

Or do i just need to wait around to see if it gets worse?

I'de like to think I can do something... going to the doctor is abit pre-mature (i think) because I dont have any pain or discoloration.. no fever or chills..

id wait it out but at the first sign of a fever id get my ass to the doc. as preventative you can start on some antibiotics if it will make you feel better.

Most likely the warm spot will subside in 3 days or so. If it continues, and there is no pain at the site, then no worries. If it continues, and there is significant pain at the site then you could have the making for an abscess. I would run Bactrin PO BID for 7-10 days
