Reusable Syringe Kit?

anyone know where a person can purchase a nice reusable syringe kit?

i inject cyp test once a week, and from what the dr says, ill probably have to do it from here on out. id like to get a nice kit that zips up i can put my stuff in for when i travel,ect. i know that disposables are cheap, but id much rather have a setup like that for when i travel,ect rather than tote disposables around.

any ideas?....

ive seen them on TV, ect before. nice zip up leather case,loops for vials, syringes,ect.

you would still have to purchase needles, and to have to keep the reusable syringe clean and sterile would be a pain in the ass. personally I wouldn't consider it.

They would no longer be sterile once used.....

One could technically "disinfect" the syringes but they will not be considered sterile unless you bought something to sterilize them. Also, If you are thinking of "baking" them to sterilize them..... you would need to buy a polyethylene wrap, sterilization tape, and you would have to know the manufacturers parameters to properly doit.....

Much easier to buy disposables if you ask me..... not to mention - cheaper!

You talkin about when John Travolta shoots heroin in "Pulp Fiction"? Usually heroin users begin to lose interest in sterility. I would never re-use a syringe... simply because of sterility... unless you want to carry around a decontamination kit. But then again... you will have to carry around extra needles. So might as well look into a bulk offer of Terumos

you need to bring some extra supplies with you if you go re-useable...like an autoclave

I would just buy yourself a box of 100 23-25g 3cc pins and use a new one everytime.

What good are sterile pins going to be with unsterile syringes..... unless thats what you meant to say?

Here's the problem with buying sterile pins but re-using syringes.....

The place where the pins screws onto the syringe would need to be "sterile" ALL the time..... which CAN NOT be done. Once you unscrew the needle and that tip hits ANYTHING..... it's no-longer sterile.

I don't know why people even contemplate these things..... It just doesn't make sense..... maybe it's just my background in sterilization talking......
