    What causes Acne?

I have been getting a lot of acne on my back. i am about 4 weeks after a 6 week pct.

What hormone causes acne? Test? Estrogen? Prolactin?

I know that AS causes acne, but what specific hormone causes it?

or is a little of all of them?

I have the same problem. Not much acne on cycle then loads in pct and 5 weeks out of pct and its worse than ever. Doctor has referred me to a skin specialist.

Spots are primarily caused by the skins sensitivity to testosterone . All the other things you mentioned can cause acne aswell from what iv been told.

Really at a loose end myself, its awful and sore and vile. WTF??

I think it has alot to do with fluctuating hormone levels. I find it is always the worst at coming off.

    estrogen = direct cause.

testosterone will produce it as well.

during PCT it's your fluctuating hormones levels that cause acne, as your body tries to restore it's homeostasis

I have a little acne on the back 1 week out of pct. It seems to be getting better now, through pct is the worst part.

I don't mean to hijack thread as I feel the answer to my question is beneficial to the op. Would running an ai such as aromasin or arimidex through post cycle along with the serms help in preventing this acne breakout? Thanks in advance.

Only some people get the benefit of reduced acne through use of an A.I.

You can try it on your next cycle and see if it works for you... but NO, you should not implement the use of an AI during your PCT.

You do not want to be eliminating estrogen during PCT, but rather using SERMS to block breast tissue receptors. AI's should only be used if HCG is incorporated into your PCT (for extreme testicular atrophy cases.)

Like I said previously, get acctuane and run it after you are done your PCT, this will help prevent break-outs as your body tries to restore homeostasis...

Honestly... just fake tan, lol... That dries out my skin very well.

I will agree with VM on the acne issue.

Quick rundown on acne.....pimples form when oil and dirt block your pores. You will see increase in this if you are shaving, due to the fact that now you have open follicles. There is a scrub called Hiba-Cleanse. If you can get a hold of this and do an exfoliate scrub once a week, you will see a great decrease in acne. Hiba-cleanse is a very strong anti-bacterial solution that we use before going into surgeries, and to clean the area that we are doing a procedure on.

Try to stay away from putting on any kind of lotions, and always bathe with Dial Anti-bacterial liquid wash, not bars of soap, as they tend to hold bacteria on them.

    Hope This helps

    Respectfully

What if you control your estrogen through your cycle with adex for example right up until the start of your pct with clomid and nolvadex ?

Well that's obviously fine... many people run an AI throughout their entire cycle (prior to starting the PCT.) some find that a low dosage of a-dex (0.25mg EOD) keeps acne at bay. nevertheless, some don't get results like this...

For myself, I just run accutane on cycle. It's simple and effective. I mean, it is the strongest form of acne treatment for a reason!

Why is eliminating estrogen during PCT bad. I was under the impression that Estrogen sky-rockets during PCT?
