    First cycle, need opinions.

Hey guys, im going to start my first cycle very soon. But I'm just making sure i have everything clear before i start.
My cycle will look like this, need opinions and or suggestions:

    Week 1-12:
500mg/week of Test Enanthate, shot biweekly Monday and Thursday.

    PCT:
    Week 13,14,15:
    1000 IU hcg 3x/week, shot Mon./Wed./Fri.
    nolva 20mg everyday.
    Clomid 50mg everyday.

    Week 16,17,18:
    nolva 20mg everyday.
    Clomid 50mg everyday.

I've been reading a lot about either running hcg during cycle or after the cycle. Both seems to have their positive benefits but i hope this is the right choice. I've also read about adding a mid cycle administration of hcg to improve recovery later on.

Would a mid cycle administration of 1000 IU hcg EoD for 1 week with 20mg nolva ED to address testicular atrophy and leydig cell desensitization and overall improve recovery with the planned PCT protocol be helpful overall?

Any thoughts? stay with the plan or add mid cycle hcg administration?

And in case of estrogen-related sides during the cycle should i use Nolva 40mg ED for 5 days then taper down to 20mg until side effects subside???

What about using arimidex throughout the cycle? I've heard more cons then pros about using arimidex on cycle, such as altering lipid profile, and reducing estrogen levels drastically which is deleterious for muscle building.

    Thanks

You seem to have some information, but your pct is a little off. We could answer all your questions, just provide us with your current stats and goals.
    Age?
    Height?
    Weight?
    Bodyfat %?
    1st cycle right?
    Goals?
And lastly do you have a set diet? What is it?

    Age: 22
    Height: 5'5''
    Weight: 75kg
bodyfat: Haven't gotten this measured in a while but I'd estimate 12-13%.
    Yes first cycle.
    Goals: Get bigger
No particular set diet as long as I get 3000cals + which I still seem to grow with and adjust in time. Try to get 300-330g of protein and the rest is filled up accordingly with carbs / fats. I keep track of my daily intake on fitday. As far as foods, they can range from potatoes, brown rice, fish, chicken, steak, eggs, milk, oatmeal, fruits, different greens, etc... On cycle planning to up my calorie intake.

Could you explain why my pct is off.

    Thanks again.

Still a little young for my liking.

^^^Bold..... I dont like that you have no particular diet either. Your diet is one of, if not the, most important part of getting bigger, or reaching your goals. It needs to be strict and goal oriented and you need to be on it long before you start any cycle.

How long have you been training for?

I don't understand what's wrong about my diet, as long as it fits my macros and meets my caloric requirements, and it includes quality foods. I watch my food intake daily on fitday, making sure i get the right amount of protein/carbs/fats, prioritizing protein intake, with 2g/lb, and rest is taken to meet caloric requirements/goal. I still don't see what you think is wrong about that.

Have been training since I was 17. Got more serious at around 19.

    Thanks for your answer

What are the quality foods? What are your requirements? There are specific diets that are for specific goals. I can eat good foods, with a nice macro range to stay healthy, but if the diet is not designed for optimal body growth, then your body wont grow.

You cant run a diet that is designed for cutting, and expect to bulk from it, and vice versa.

A healthy diet doesnt mean it will help with goals.

You are a bit young still. If you could hold off for at least a couple of years with a set diet for bulking I'm sure you could grow more without steroids. Read Marcus link so you understand the consequences of using so young. You do eat quality foods but and it's a good thing to track it. Now all you are missing is putting it together according to your goals. You should have at least 5 solid meals spread throughout the day at 3hrs. A protein shake with simple carbs right after workout etc. If you want more help with diet head over to the diet forum.

I have 6 meals spread throughout the day, i have my post workout shake when needed as well. Yes i adjust my caloric intake making sure i put on weight/grow. I take the right proportions of protein/carbs/fat. I am not doing things wrong like going4ripped states as he can't comprehend my posts.

And as far as saying im too young, what age do you think is right to start?

What is there I am not comprehending? I asked for the details of your diet. You say it is a good diet.... show me.

All I am saying is that you claim to not have a set diet, yet, you are claiming to have all the proportions right.... so.... what are the "right proportions of protein/carbs/fat"? What makes them right?

In humans your Endocrine system is not fully functional until an average age of 25yrs, although the main development is up to around 21yrs it still fluctuates a little bit up to its fully functional age. There is a risk of permanently damaging your HPTA if you take AAS to young and you could end up with symptoms of andropause and HRT for life. Symptoms could be Limp dick, low libido, depression, low energy, low endurance, erection problems and many more but.......are these the types of symptoms you want to have in your 20's?. Believe me its hard to cope with these in your 40's yet alone in your prime of your life.

Around this age your Testosterone levels are the highest they going to be in your life naturally, so use what you have and don't take the risk of damage, I am passionate about this because ive seen it many times with young kids wanting to looking like their heroes and they think the answer is in an injection/tablet.

I am definetely going to wait until im older. I don't think im ready just yet... But for the sake of knowing more about the subject, can someone critique my planned cycle on my first post?

Give yourself another 2yrs hard training, start changing your diet and using different foods, see how your body reacts, build somemore weight naturally and you will be in a great position when you do finally start using gear, it isnt worth having low test for life and having those sides in your 20's, in the meantime go and research around here and go down to the diet section.

A wise choice. As far as the cycle is ok. Test E at 500mg/week is a great starting point for 10-12 weeks long. An AI is always a good idea to keep on hand to control estrogen related side effects. Now PCT should start 2 weeks after your last test e shot and nolva and clomid are enough I think you could go without HCG for this one.
